This practice has the worst customer service you can imagine. Any time you call in the morning for an appointment it takes for ever for some one to answer a call only for them to tell you they don’t have any appointments left. 3 times in the space of a week this has happened to me. I went in to reception at 9am to tell them I need to see a doctor for medication about my mental health and was told once again there isn’t anyone able to see me. This is why so many males these days have horrible mental health issues their own practice don’t even help them. The way it’s run is an absolute disgrace

I’m surprised that this practice has had some poor reviews. My own experience is that on the occasions I’ve asked for an appointment I’ve been given one on the day or soon after. On the day of my appointments the reception staff have been welcoming and friendly. The Doctors that I’ve seen have listened carefully to my concerns and explained their diagnosis in detail, clearly and with care to me. Overall my experiences of this practice and the support and clinical staff that work in it has been excellent.

Don't see why this practice gets such terrible reviews, I joined 4 years ago, and the doctors are all professional and listen, then act accordingly, they have always done right by me, no complaints, making an appointment, is the same at other doctors with phoning in morning, seen someone say they were angry because the receptionist asked why do you need to see a doctor...well it's so they can prioritise what patients are urgent especially on a Monday. I am happy in this surgery and won't be leaving anytime soon.

I did not want to write a bad review in the beginning when I had my first issue. But things pile up I guess. I am on immunosuppressant medication. Due to this, I developed some yeast infection on my skin. I went to consult a doctor who was very rude. I tried to explain that I might not see all the spots that I need to be treated with a cream ( eg. my back). The doctor was very rude and refused to give an alternative or explain her decision. Just kept telling me " its not suitable for you". I tried to ask questions, but it felt like I am talking to a wall. I tried to order my medication. My previous GP gave me at least 2-3 months of tablets. They gave me 56 which won't be enough even for a month! I tried to get a bit more tablets so I don't have to run around for my medication all the time. The receptionist told me that the pharmacist would give me a call. I received no phone calls. Had to call them back. When I finally received a phone call the pharmacist blamed me for not getting my blood checked every month! She was very condescending, rude and it was clear that nobody looked at my file since I am on my medication for nearly two years and at this point I would only need to get it done every 12 weeks. It is hard enough to live with a condition that I won't recover from, ever, on top of it I will need to have a constant fight with rude doctors, pharmacist. Two stars, but only because the nurses who do my blood tests are always patient and compassionate and they truly deserve recognition.

Me and my family have joined this practice since August 2021. This practice has been the best we have ever been with. The doctors and nurses are genuinely so caring, they always show concern for whatever illness or symptoms we'd have. Absolutely Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awful trying to get through to speak to a receptionist. Not been able to get a face to face appointment for ages. Ended up going to A&E and had to have a stent fitted. Not a good advert for the NHS.

Awful doctors. Extremely disorganised and can’t pass on information when getting blood tests causing repeat visits. Refused to give me a blood test after a referral from a specialist and when I offered to go private they wouldn’t give me any information or advice on where to go. They then sent patronising letters to my home that wasn’t even requested. It was completely unhelpful and caused us a lot of distress. I was going through some difficult treatment and the doctor didn’t ask or even care about the mental impact. They also cut down my partners much needed injection frequency based on no evidence just because a ‘change in policy’ at their practice. His last doctors done tests to find his best frequency and they won’t go by their recommendation. We are trying to move doctors just now. Avoid this doctor surgery as they just don’t care about their patients.

Over the past week I've had to attent this pratcie twice. Both times I've been sat in front of one of the doctors within an hour of phoning for an appointment. I found the reception staff as well as the doctor I saw (Dr Macdonald) very helpful, friendly and professional. This is in stark contrast to all the horror stories and problems I've been hearing about gp surgeries recently. If some practices are not performing well at the moment this is not one of them. My experience was excellent.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you - called at 8am and got straight into call queue - only 5/10mins to wait. Receptionist was very helpful and got my little one booked straight into a face to face at 9am. We saw a lovely doctor who was very thorough and attentive and sorted everything very quickly. We were done by 9.10am and medication started. Wow - the NHS really is incredible - great experience and huge thanks for super efficiency, we’re very grateful

Would give 0 stars if I could. Dr McCauley in particular is extremely rude. Patronising, rude and dismissive of main symptoms. Seems to cling onto the most insignificant symptom you mention and try to run with that. Receptionists always very rude on the phone to asking “why do you need to see a doctor?” Because I’m phoning and asking to probably. Such nicer ways to word things to be honest.
