Our daughter is attending this nursery and I couldn't recommend it more. The staff are great, really caring, understanding and accomodating, and provide great activities for babies and toddlers.
When we pick her up we often find her in the staff's arms reading and playing.
Our daughter rushes to the door every morning to go to the nursery and launches herself in the arms of the staff.
As parents we couldn't feel more at ease with leaving her at the nursery and she has developed so much since she attended.

This is going to be a long review. I thought I’d start with the positives. This nursery provides excellent care for the children. The staff have been fantastic. I have two children and we’ve been to three different rooms for 0-3 year olds. In every room, the staff were great. That’s where the positives stop.
We’ve been with the nursery for two years and a bit. The first year and a half were great, then things started to go sideways. The nursery managed to lose a lot of staff and were struggling to replace them. They started to rely heavily on agency workers. There was a lot of staff turnover. Because of that, they started to close rooms at a very short or sometimes no notice (like after dropping one child off we were told to come pick them up) because they could not fulfil staff-children ratios. It was not good for my eldest as he would sometimes need to go to the pre-school room with staff he did not know well instead of going to his usual room. We lived like this for almost a year and then they sent out an email saying they were to close all under 3 rooms until further notice. They gave us two weeks (!) to find alternative childcare, which I had to do for two children. There has been little to no support over this period. After all that they still owe me money for room closures dating back to February (!) and it has been a month and a half since we are no longer with them. Unequal treatment of parents, where you had to press for what you want and each parent would be given slightly different information, and the lack of support and communication from the top management left quite an unpleasant impression. I’m glad that I’ve left all this organisational nightmare behind me, to be honest. If you read up to this point, my advice is to stay away to save yourself some nerves and calls and emails into nowhere. It’s really sad that the excellent staff are being let down by poor decision making.

Our son has been with Corner House on Spylaw Road for about a month, and we couldn't really be happier with how things have gone. The settling in period was a generous number of sessions over two weeks, so when he started properly he was ready to go. The staff in his room always seem happy, relaxed, and fully engaged with all the children they're looking after. They are professional and creative, keeping the children safe and well looked after, while introducing them to many new experiences. We look forward to many more months and years with Corner House.
