(0 stars if possible ) please avoid this GP practice when moving homes to the PA3 area and want to register here We were moving house from Glasgow to the paisley area we asked to get a change of address and to register to this GP the reception. Staff gave us one Around 2 weeks later they said this- that is not our change of address form they said they been using it for the last 20 years? That is such lies they just simply changed the information on the sheet when complaining about this staff will give u attuide said we canβt do anything about this and wasted an hour worth of the day because they shut at 13:00 to 14:00 for lunch and training they just simply chat and eat their lunch wasted our time coming forth and back from Glasgow to paisley Please avoid if possible and use a better GP this paisley GP is a joke and also came yesterday around 12:50 to say they we closed for their lunch we couldnβt even hand in a simple sheet back itβs a joke and they will give u attuide and wasting ur time AVOID.

My experience at the Barony Practice has been very positive pretty much every time I've had to go. From reception through to my G.P. appointment I have no complaints

Not had much experience with the GP's fortunately as I only ever visit to have injections delivered by the nurse or order my prescriptions, but both experiences are always great. Reception staff always get me sorted out quickly and kindly, and the nurse Adele is just absolutely amazing, always put me at ease and treated me with the best care.

Think this pactrice is terrible sent me out a letter saying Iβve missed an appointment which I had no information about what so ever then said they where taking me of there system and that they wonβt be seeing my children either! Iβve not had anything from them until today and to make it worse I was at their practice this week with my daughter and now they have take both my kids of their system for nothing, itβs shocking! Wouldnβt recommend!

I recently moved from london and I am a new patient at the practice. I am so impressed the service has been absolutely first class. The doctors and staff are excellent They are so efficient more so than London Iβm a registered nurse /midwife so I do appreciate how much stress they are under and would just like to say how very grateful I am to every one of them & Dr Hislop has been amazing Thank you Maureen

I've been with this practice since it opened. I always get appointments if required & calls from the GPS. The nurses & reception staff are very helpful. I wouldn't change to any other practice. I feel safe there.

Great GP practice! Never had any problem to contact them, the doctor always calls back and have been able to see doctors in person usually within a week. Reception staff are lovely too.

Ever since the pandemic, i have noticed the GP's at this particular practice have become increasingly rude and dismissive. The manner in which I have been spoken to on the few occasions I have required their service is beyond abysmal. On two occasions, the two separate GP's spoke to me like I was a mentally compromised child, to the point of being called a "liar" because I failed to remember a certain small detail from a previous phone appointment! I'm the spouse of a retired consultant gastroenterologist, so not exactly a numpty. Their entire modus operandi seems to be one of implementing bullying tactics and talking loudly over the patient, to put off patients from calling and the GP's themselves from having to do any actual work. These tactics have certainly worked on me! Seems they are literally making up the most asinine excuses to avoid doing the job they're being paid for. Just sat, hiding away in their offices, kidding on they're "busy." Aye. Busy deciding what type of biscuit goes best with their cuppa! The quicker GP's are replaced by robots, the better!

I've been with this surgery for over 15 years. I have always found all reception staff, GP's and allied health professional staff helpful and pleasant and have never had any difficulty getting an appointment appropriate to my situation. GP's are exceptionally busy and many minor ailments and conditions don't need a GP. If people would take responsibility and look at alternatives such as their local pharmacist in the first instance the telephone triage system would work very well as it has done for me any time I have required to use it.

I've been a patient of The Barony Practice for almost twenty years and I've always received great treatment. The receptionists are always pleasant and helpful, as are the nurses, and the GPs are excellent. You will always receive a call back from the on-call doctor on the day, and you will be seen by a doctor on the same day if required. Referrals are organised quickly, and any support you require from outside agencies such as palliative care, is also organised very quickly. I can honestly say that in my twenty years of being a patient of this practice I have never had a bad experience.
