I’d been with this surgery since I was a baby. My parents still go to this surgery. They are always treated with respect and are seen to fine. I’ve have had many bad experiences with this practice which I will list below. 1. I was deregistered without my consent a few years ago because the practice saw that I called the NHS 111 line from a different address. I made a complaint and was told under no circumstances would they reinstate me. My full time address is in their catchment area :/. I made them aware that I’d been with the surgery my entire life and my parents have been too but that didn’t matter to them. I spoke to a male receptionist who was incredibly rude and condescending then I spoke with the head receptionist(?) she was no better. They didn’t even apologise on the phone. 2. In 2017, I was having a really hard time with my mental health. I came into the surgery and spoke with a female doctor about what was going on. She told me I was very self aware and that she didn’t believe me. I had to spend the next 20 minutes telling her in detail exactly everything about the way I was feeling, my previous self harm marks and talk about what I’d tried to do to stop it. She then refused me any help and put me on a 18 month waiting list for therapy. (I had told her it hadn’t helped before ) That’s not acceptable to do to a 16 year old.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had dealing with a receptionist at the Gorbals Health & Care Centre. Went in to speak about a simple issue and was met with being constantly talked over and made to feel completely out of line for my problem. For a GP receptionist to make a member of the public feel that way shows a serious lack of compassion and has left me incredibly disappointed.

Doctors are nice but receptionists are so rude over the phone. I’m not sure why they feel the need to speak down to their patients, and act like they don’t have a single minute spare. Awful awful experience having to phone and talk to whoever is on reception.

Rude incompetent receptionists that refusing to book appointments and/or are inconsistent with booking process. The GPs themselves are very friendly and helpful but getting access to them is nearly impossible.

Phoned and got a doctor I never knew maybe a locum. Had a phone consultation, but never listened to what I had to say. No follow up procedures, no ongoing info. Poor service, looking for an alternative doctors surgery. Poor attitude and uncaring.

I only spoke to the young lady in reception twice. The first time in person and the second over the phone. On both occasions she must have had a bad day. Or she doesnt like her job to much. She wasnt friendly or very helpful. I have yet to meet any other staff. Will change my review once I'm registered and see a Dr.
