   Best service ever all staff were helpful, pleasant and made my experience very relaxed and the expertise was 2nd to none it was a pleasure with all my eye tests right down to the fitting after receiving my new glasses. I had no faults whatsoever and I look forward to dealing with specsavers Stonelaw rd Rutherglen branch again when needed. To all the wonderful staff that dealt with me through all the different procedures from start to collection of new glasses. Very caring 5***** each and everyone of staff. Thank u very much.    Lovely staff. Very knowledgeable. Seem quickly and had free eye tests done. Ordered glasses with help from assistant who gave great advice on varifocals verse ordinary. Got s good 2 for 1 deal.

   The staff are always welcoming and friendly as we enter for our appointment. The consultants my daughter has been seeing are professional, kind and show sympathy of her long term issue. Praising her for her diligence in following care instructions and assuring her that some things take time, This is important when explaining things to a younger/teenage person and recognising them rather than talking to the parent/carer.

   Every member off staff in the Rutherglen Branch are very very welcoming. From the second you enter the shop there is someone making sure you are tended too. Is shop is very busy they will continuously keep you updated and apologie for any delays. They helped make my son feel at ease and gently explained to him the importance of taking breaks from screen time for his sight benefits. They explained directly to him what the test would entail and helped us choose the right lens after explaining to us the benefits of myopic lenses for the best help for his sight prescription. The shop floor staff who deal with aftercare are just as helpful and also speak with both us and our son. I too am a customer with the Rutherglen branch and also have only had positive experiences each time I visit. I had previously been a customer elsewhere but changed due to poor customer relations. Best decision I made as I have always received the best care and advice at each visit. All in all a 10/10 for the Rutherglen Branch staff. Susan Neil

   I use this specsavers usually for eye and contact lens tests only and also because of location convenience. The optometrists themselves I've had no issues with their practice and other customer facing staff have been ok. My issue is that in 4 years of using them I've had issues which, although minor, seem to be a recurrent thing. 4 years ago they caused an issue with incorrect lens being ordered when I had to go elsewhere to get glasses reglazed. Due to the poorly printed card with my prescription, even the optician and staff at a private optician made the same mistake I had ie a 6 looked like and 8 or vice versa. To the other opticians credit, they called up this specsavers and were told my prescription over the phone and didn't charge me extra when they sorted the issue. Specsavers cited covid at the time for being unable to reglaze glasses. This time I remained with specsavers to reglaze my glasses since they appeared to offer that service now. My glasses returned missing a nose pad. I was told that I would have been instructed that they are not liable. I was neither instructed of this or signed anything. Due to miniscule changes in vision I only attend every second year and don't always upgrade my lens unless wear and tear issues. While the customer service agent states they will speak to their manager to see what they can do I doubt a satisfactory resolution will be made. Time to look for a new optician again.

   i broke my glasses and went into Specsavers Rutherglen today, i had only bought them 4 months ago, luckily they had the same frame so took my old lenses and put them into my new glasses, then told me they would not be charging me for the new glasses! i was made up, the staff were superb, very friendly and great customer service, this was 3 days before xmas and i was expecting a bill, so to not get a bill at this time of year was brilliant!!!

   Staff are warm and welcoming regardless of this awful virus. Felt really safe and was given a really good examination a special thank you to young lady who explained all aspects of tests through my visit she is a credit to this shop also the young nan who assisted with the last part of test very patient and helpful, everything was cleaned before and after a huge thank you to all staff keep safe and take care.
