Fantastic. The coordinator team are so lovely and pay attention detail as remember my sons name every time we attend. It feels so warm and inviting every time we attend. Has totally helped me with my anxiety of my son going to nursery soon as we are both getting used to a nursery setting. Couldn’t thank them enough!

Our daughter enjoyed two years in both little owls and big owls. The teachers and staff consistently provided a safe, caring, and positive learning environment that ensured our daughter was very well prepared for the challenge of transitioning to Primary 1 this year.

I go to this school and it is the best place ever we get so many off opportunities like the school could get you into being a doctor, a scientist, a dancer , an engineer and so much more. before I moved to St George’s when me and my family were researching it we watched a video of all these great things we get to do and my dad cried because of it. We also work across the school with older and younger students and go on so many trips and go to camp. I have had the best four years of my life here and I know there will be more amazing things here at St George’s which I am so exited for and honestly St George’s has changed my life. If you have a little girl who loves adventuring and having fun then this is the school for her. Our school moto is yes she can.-Cara Wilson age 11 2024

I went to this school for a short time and I am so disappointed. The students have no respect for their peers. There was so much bullying and internet harassment in this school and even after I left. One music teacher in particular makes racist comments and jokes. The deputy head picks favourites and gives certain students opportunities that other students need more. Thinking about the people in this school and how they behave makes me sick. The teachers need to have a long talk to the students about basic respect, manners and how to treat others nicely. I hate this school.

My daughter is in the junior school and is really enjoying her experience. The staff are kind and caring, and everything is run efficiently and effectively. They go out of their way to help the girls and parents. There is a lovely sense of community fostered by the staff and girls. I am very happy to have my daughter here.

Our daughter joined St George's nursery more than a year ago and to say that she just loves it is definitely an understatement! From her first day she felt immediately at home. The quality of the nursery staff is truly top and they are absolutely wonderful – always smiling and friendly. They always try their best to make the children feel comfortable and keep them constantly busy with all sorts of activities and interesting trips such as to the beach, zoo, the Holyrood Palace and even to the nearby care house!! The nursery also benefits hugely from the school’s facilities such as the gym hall, the music centre and the lovely outdoor playing areas such as the fantastical forest and other wonderful areas of the school’s grounds. Nursery is from 8.30am – 3pm with flexible sessions, however, we have also been using their breakfast club from 7.45am and after school club from 3pm-6pm and I can thoroughly recommend these too. Overall, excellent staff and facilities. Highly recommended!

Having moved our daugther (3 y/o) from her previous nursery to St George's, I have to say the difference is staggering. The nursery is absolutley exceptional. We truly feel our daughter is receiving the highest level of care - I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Very lovely nursery with friendly and nurturing teachers. They offer a wide variety of activities from sport and art to outdoor learning and cooking. Small groups with a great teacher-child-ratio and an outstanding transfer procedure from nursery to Primary 1!
