The host was very polite and secured good hygiene practices. Rooms had everything except for the attic room which I wasn't very happy for my children. However, everything was good. Great location.
This was perfect for a simple 2 night weekend stay. Room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Shower room was perfectly good and only a few paces from our room. Such a great location in the south of the city, just 10 mins on the train. And all at an incredible price!

The best hostel I’ve ever been to. Rooms are lovely and cosy, everything’s furnished nice, the kitchen is well set out, and the bathrooms have nice hot showers with good pressure. Everything was clean and taken care of and the staff were exceptional. It’s super close and easy to get into the city centre, but it’s still in a nice, quiet area. Feels like such good value for money. We will 100% be back!!
FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY!! Not only is it a well kept, cozy and incredibly affordable place to stay, with warm comfortable rooms and a super nice shower, but the staff went absolutely above and beyond! After leaving my laptop there he drove all the way to the airport to drop it off to me. Absolute Legend. Thankyou Robert!!
Just back from a fantastic stay at Glades. Clean, comfortable and homely guest house. Has everything needed for a short or long stay. Cooking facilities, washing machine and dryer plus an excellent shower. Robert was extremely accomodating and understanding of our late arrival plus loaned us an adapter plug and hairdryer for the duration of our stay. Excellent location with good transport links and a supermarket nearby. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Room was great for what we needed and clean. Facilities were cleaned daily. Hostel was very quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. It is a 2 min walk from Crosshill train station, which can take you straight to Glasgow Central Station in the city centre. It is also a 15 min walk to the ASDA grocery store. Robert, the owner, is very nice and welcoming and accommodating if there is anything you may need. The price is ideal. Would absolutely stay again!
Just been for a 2 night stay we wen to see Gerry cinnamon at Hamden park. The hotel was 5 min walk from ere. When we arrived Robert was there to greet us really nice friendly guy. He made sure he showed us everything. Room was nice and clean had everything we needed. Bed was just amazingly soft and comfy could have stayed there all day. The don’t make breakfast but have a lovely kitchen with everything in it and you can make your own food if you want. If we ever back in Glasgow this is the place to stay for us.
In response to your reply - yes and we understand that price which is what I said in the review you previously kept deleting. However those other hotels with inflated prices I bet were far cleaner than your room. You cannot charge a price the same as other Accomodation when your cleanliness was not up to the same standard of a regular hotel.
