I participated in this program for a month. It was a wonderful experience, especially because the teachers make you feel at home. I would like to thank Emy because her lessons, which focused on communication, helped me significantly improve my English, especially in work contexts. I left a piece of my heart in Edinburgh.
Emy has had a remarkable impact on my English learning journey. Her teaching style is both clear and engaging, making even the most complex grammar rules easy to understand. I’ve always admired her patience and dedication—she never hesitated to explain something multiple times until everyone got it. What truly sets Emy apart is how warm, kind, and approachable she is. She created such a positive and supportive atmosphere that every student felt welcomed and encouraged to participate. Being there felt just like being at home. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve gained confidence in my English skills and developed a genuine love for the language. I’d also like to thank David, Charlie, and Keith for their kindness, support, and encouragement throughout the course.
Highly recommend this school. Keith is a super nice person always happy to help, if you have any questions just ask him. Emy is a charismatic teacher, she can draw your attention to focus on what she teaching, you won’t feel bored in her class also she’s very good at courage everyone speaks, after many times to speak your opinion, discussing with your classmates, you’re no longer fear of using English. David’s class helped me speaking in grammatically correct English and he taught us how to smoothly speak long sentences. I met many friends there, now they are just like my brother and sister, although they are already back at their home I still miss them so much because we had a great memory at this school.
My experience with the teachers here was great! They're really friendly and just overall excellent. I was here for two weeks and I truly have learned a lot - definitely recommend!! What I liked about the lessons is how interactive the teachers made them. Educative and fun :)
I recently spent three weeks at this English academy, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. The teachers are exceptional, the school environment is welcoming, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel like part of a family. I had to extend my stay by a few days before the course started, and it was handled without any issues. The flexibility and support from the staff were outstanding. I would like to give a special mention to Emy, one of the teachers. She went above and beyond her teaching duties, providing personal support. Her kindness and understanding made a significant difference during my time there. Overall, I highly recommend this academy to anyone looking to improve their English skills in a warm and supportive environment.
A very positive experience. You will be in a very friendly environment that allow you to learn the language with enthusiasm. Teachers besides being very skilled, they have the ability to explain the topics very clearly and dynamically, making the lessons always very interesting. They are very available if you need some advice or information.
I didn't have a good experience with them. Suggesting to stay away from The Language Institute.
Lessons were very boring and the teachers failed to make us concentrate for more than 5 minutes. One of them also didn’t allow us to leave class after it was over. Very bad experience overall. Cheers to J and M tho!
my son arrived yesterday at this fantastic school. Highly recommended, because they are attentive and helpful and solve any problem. My son had lost his wallet on the bus when he arrived and he was left with no money and documents, and Mr. Hamish immediately supported us at any time to reassure us by providing all the necessary support. He even found the wallet, going personally to the lost property office. The best school my son has ever attended. Highly recommended!
