Beautiful hotel in the centre of town, great staff food was great, only drawback all rooms are on the third floor there is no lift. If you have a disability you have a problem getting up the stairs. My wife has mobility issues so it was a problem for her,as much as we liked the hotel we won't be going back.

We had dinner here to celibate my sons 21st. Burgers were his choice. All 4 of us had one with variations. Chicken, beef, cheese, bacon, etc. They were very nice and very well presented. All the food we had was. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The cost was Ok in teems of value.

Every single staff member were fantastic, I honestly felt they couldn't do enough for me from carrying my suitcase to my room on arrival to opening water bottles for me! They always seemed to have time for a wee chat (as a solo guest that's important). Everyone of them were very well presented. Honestly couldn't fault them in any way! I cannot praise the food enough! From the lovely full Scottish breakfast to the incredible dinner menu! I ate dinner 4 nights in a row from the lasagne to the poached salmon nothing but good food! I only problem was the large portions, I personally would have appreciated a half portion as I felt upset not eating it all! It was just so tasty and beautifully presented. Initially I booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 nights I certainly felt it was good value for money and the menu was certainly good value.

My office booked the upstairs event space for an all day course. My wife dropped me off and when she came to collect me mid-afternoon we grabbed a lunch menu and weren't disappointed. I had the macaroni cheese with garlic bread and she had a tuna melt panini. It was nice to order fresh orange and lemonade and actually get it too. From the lady on reception, to the one who served us, we were very well looked after and the food was top notch. Will definitely be back here when we're in the area and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Would highly recommend popping in here for brunch/lunch/dinner or even just a coffee and cake- we’ve done all of the above and every time we’ve been impressed. The staff are really lovely and the food is tasty. There’s a really nice vibe to the place too. You’d think it would be quite expensive but to be honest, it’s no dearer than the cafes nearby.

This is a great place to stay if you are a super fit pygmy, and you would need to be as there is no lift. This is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and it was on the second floor. The room is so small there is no room for a chair. No desk or similar to put anything on such as a laptop, or a sandwich, or a cup of coffee. No room to swing a hamster. It measured approx 2.8m x 2.7m. It is big enough for a bed and a little room to shuffle around it. The toilet in the shower room is sandwiched between the sink and the shower screen in a space that measured 45cm. Unless you like your fingers to go through your toilet tissue I'd suggest you brought your own as the supplied toilet tissue is the cheapest gossamer thin paper available. However, credit where credit is due, the shower was great and the full Scottish breakfast was top notch. Very tasty.

Absolutely spot on. Food is fantastic along with a beautifully decorated bar, rooms are very quirky. There is no lift but it’s only 2 floors high. The staff were brilliant and very very polite and helpful. Had a great stay for a inexpensive price. Some great views of the Campsies hills, and a great place to stay for a good jump off point for a good bit of hillwalking. 10/10 brilliant I will be back, also worth a mention the place is extremely child friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was beautiful well worth adding on the booking.

We moved to the area a couple of weeks ago and visited the restaurant for the first time on Friday night. The staff and service were both incredible. The attention to detail that the staff were taking for each table was impeccable and it felt like a 5 star experience. We had such a lovely friendly welcome from the lady at the reception when we walked in and the service continued in the same manner from all staff throughout. To add to this, every bit of food was delicious (my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my partner’s chicken supreme was excellent - especially those haggis bon bons!). We were so impressed with the whole experience and will certainly be back as well as recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you to everyone involved!

I stay local to the Broadcroft Hotel, so this review is about the restaurant only. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and is very clean. The service is very good also. The views over the Campsie Fells are also spectacular from the restaurant. Plenty of choice on the food menu and also the drinks menu. The food is very good, especially for a hotel. I have visited approximately 4/5times this year and have never had a bad meal or service. Highly recommend if you are ever in the beautiful area.
