   Very noisy as other guests were inconsiderate tank above the room could be heard all night and the shower had two settings..freezing or scalding the place was third rate at best I wouldn't bother wasting your money if you had an alternative like an abandoned car or an underpass I would choose those first

   We went on 18/06/2025 for lunch. We were sent straight into the bar area which is long overdue a refurb. Ripped seating and damaged tables. The mac n cheese was passable but the ‘Katsu curry’ was abysmal. It wasn’t a katsu curry at all and I had to add a load of salt & pepper for any flavour at all. The chips were decent. No coasters on the tables so the condensation dripped on our clothes when we had a drink. The young man who served us was very polite. Due to the very shabby bar and abysmal curry I do not recommend to anyone to go here for lunch. We won’t be back

   The experience was unpleasant. The receptionist put us in a room that wasn't cleaned and someone had just been living in, we had to protest and get a new room. We requested room service after our morning ablutions as we headed out, but they chose not to do this. The building and rooms were tired, needs a lot of renovation. It felt more like a run down motel than an actual Hotel.

   We were passing through and needed a bed for the night. For what we wanted it suited us fine. Clean, good no fuss service, good night's sleep, could keep an eye on the car from the room. Great breakfast at the local cafe. Would stay again.

   Had my fathers wake there on Monday 23rd Jan. Quality of food was mediocre despite them being the second most expensive venue to choose from, £15 per head for a sausage roll and a sandwich and soup was an extra £2 per head on top of that, not even 1 sausage roll per person. To add insult to injury while tea and coffee were being served I asked a member of staff for a soft drink for my teenage son, i was told the staff can fulfill this request due to bar being closed. The staff were completely useless with no alternate offered so I had to remind them that water pours from any tap they just need to catch it in a glass. Would not recommend anyone using this venue, it's best days are sadly beyond it.

   Was there for a funeral it serves it's purpose but because of this it is a bit complacent. Toilets clean but sinks all cracked and no door lock working in the ladies delegated for us to use

   Ate tonight in the restaurant, table booked for 8 people. On arrival we were informed that items on the menu were not available due to a busy evening the night before. Food arrived cool, had to return to heat. Very cold inside with no heating, staff were very good and apologetic offering a round of drinks. We will not return unfortunately.

   Reminds me off being at home lovely staff members comfortable beds clean the only thing is I got lost on the way to finding the car park but the rest is lovely will definitely be coming back
