All 3 of my boys go to Thai Kwon Do here. Staff are very professional and friendly. Well structured lessons and fun. I like the progression from little ninjas to kicking kids as well as the stripes and belts. My boys like to see the progress they are making.
Don't let anyone tell you Martial Arts is for youngsters. I started as a 51 year old and achieved my Black belt at 58. And I wasn't even the oldest student!! Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy. But GMSMA students and Instructors in both Livingston and Bathgate gyms are like an extended family, with everyone, no matter what age or belt colour willing to help and assist others. I only wish I'd started Taekown-Do a lot earlier.
My son started at GMSMA when he was 4 and turned black belt just before lock. Instructors are great and the kids enjoy the fitness and all levels well done guys
Amazing place. Been a member for 5+ years. Lost 2 and a half stone, competed nationally and now looking to compete internationally now. I train with European and World champions and we are all treated the same. Walking through the door is one of the best things I have ever done - I was 37. I'll be here forever. Great atmosphere, great instruction and great people. The confidence I have grown, the fitness, the mental fortitude, determination and the great friends. My home from home.
My 5 year old son attends the Little Ninja classes and absolutely loves it. GMSMA has been particularly good during lockdown by keeping classes going online and giving my son something to look forward to.
