Great place and staff are great and very helpful, can't praise them enough as there's many other extras that can get handed in to.

It's not so much the staff,it's the area&the people that hang around the facility, there's no real safety or a feeling of security, other homeless people who you share the facility with have no problem jimming your door&stealing the only possessions you've managed to keep throughout your journey of homelessness! Not everyone is there bcoz they didn't pay rent or have a drug/alcohol dependency it's also battered women or men, changes in your marriage,a death that's made you all of a sudden, the head of the household,if staff really want to get to the root cause of a lot of problems there then they really need to start with allowing people to feel safe, stand up to the trouble makers&have a punishment approach,it's scary being homeless&everything we own is in a black bags, if that's stolen by others then it can weigh you down to the point of no return, train people on how to conquer bullies&have 24/7 security, this i can promise will go a long long way!

When I went into St Andrews Court hostel last November i was a mess, the staff were all absalutely brilliant wheather helping with forms & advice etc or just as people for talking to, & my experience of everyone who was staying there was also nothing but positive & the whole place really helped me get back on track at least with life & tbh i've missed the place since leaving especially the support & guidance it offered, couldnt speak highly enough of this facility, its staff & everyone connected to it.

Got attacked and had to get facial reconstruction because a girl in the hostil stole some things out my room and walked out ,I went to follow and there were two men 1at each end of the outside of my door ,I didn't see them ,they said to me she wants them and you are doing nothing about it so I went to a girl who was a friend to go with me to her door because I knew she was scared of this woman to get my stuff back and I did , their was no raised voices and no threats or violence and I left. 3days later I was walking to the hostil and one of the men that was at my door that night was hiding behind a van and I walked by and he came up behind me hit me with something metal on my temple and I spin round and staggered to the other side of the road and fell against a small wall,I tried to get up to defend myself and pushed my hands down to get up and my legs weren't working by this time he had walked back up to me and started to stamp my head into the wall I was propped up on and kicking my face so I reported it as well as25 others that were in the two pubs either side of us,hostel didn't even throw him out.
