Had food poisoning from a chilled sandwich. I think the shop is too busy to guarantee ready to eat food is kept cold for long enough. Could really ruin your flight or holiday.

I arrived late on the first of June. The Marks and Spencers had been permanently closed for some time in order that a new shop be built in a different location. The airport staff were very courteous although vague when it would be reopened. Google maps says that it is open 24 hours however the Marks and Spencers website now says that the opening times are 6 am until 10 pm, this is not the case. If, like me, you rely on this shop for a reasonably priced beer and not the horrendously priced beer from the cafe, I would bring your own. Also bring a sleeping mat, the Costa is now closed overnight so no comfy benches for those flying at 5 am. I do not know why this isn't made clearer on either Google maps or the M + S site. It does mention the closing but not the reopening on the Bristol airport site. Looks like those early morning flights just got a little bit more unpleasant.

Nice convenience store, with ready to eat food. It’s perfect for when you arrive at late hours and have to catch the bus or a coach. The staff is really nice and helpful and there a lot to choose from, even late in the evening. The prices are not that high, just fair enough considering you are buying at a M&S at an airport.

I had an unpleasant encounter with an extremely rude and unprofessional staff. I made a purchase at one of the self check out machines and I paid with my phone and I chose not to print a receipt. As I put the merchandise back into my bag, the scanner picked up the price tag and the machine recorded a new purchase. I tried to explain the situation to the shop assistant and trying to show her my phone which showed the amount taken from fron my bank account with the time stamp at that time. She refused to listen to my explanation nor look at my phone and accused me of not paying. It was an embarassing situation in front of other shoppers. The store manager was then involved who listened to my explanation and quickly resolved the situation and apologised for the behaviour of his staff. After a long flight, it is the last thing you need to be treated like a shoplifter. Just FYI, the merchandise was two reduced price chicken and leek pies costing £5.75.

Nice little supermarket, 24 hour open, it is self service and the prices are reasonable. Our bus it was cancelled so we had the chance to buy some snacks to eat while we were waiting.

Good for food to pick up to take on flight or to get some bits in when you get back. Not a huge range of non convenience food but nice enough. Tills are a bit slow at times
