   I was represented in 2006/2008. My first solicitor was amazing , she left. The guy I got next was atrocious, ignores your calls and never calls back so your constantly phoning because you dont know if hes going to turn up for your court hearing or not ,his office was an absolute mess in files, would never take my instruction serious and caused me a massive amount of stress , this was for child custody/divorce. 1 star is definitely too much and the receptionist when she answered the phone was down right rude.

   I must say Euan gosney is one of the best lawyers I have dealt with he's always there when you need him he will answer the phone regardless of what time. I speak very highly about Ewan as he's an amazing professional lawyer which will get you off if there is enough evidence to prove your not guilty. Emma has represented me and she is fantastic also this company I would definitely give 10 stars if I could they are are the best I have ever worked with.

   Euan Gosney, absolute shocking and appauling service - If you use this law firm, be prepared to be found guilty, even if you are innocent. Seriously, save yourself right now and look somewhere else. 1. Failed to call important witnesses to stand (Only called one witness out of 8) 2. Failed to spend time in gathering the right questions for trial. 3. Failed to provide any sort of empathy due to being wrongly accused. This was such a simple case but they could not get it right, I can not believe this is a law firm, I could have done a better job representing myself. I AM COMPLETELY SERIOUS. I was found guilty for assault, when I was the one assaulted. I am now in the appeals process. Absolute disgrace, Euan you do not deserve to be sitting where you are.

   I had contacted thorley Stephenson after a recommendation from another solicitor, they told me they were very good, and very compassionate, in reality, I had left a message on their answering machine 2 days later a woman called back. She was extremely abrupt, and quite frankly very unpleasant to speak with and didn’t have an ounce of compassion in her. All I wanted was advice for my young daughter for a domestic abuse case on what to expect. I was willing to pay. The woman’s tone was very aggressive. I will be passing this on to the solicitor who recommended them, I certainly would never recommend to anyone. I know one person is not the whole company but sadly as a representative she has completely given me a very negative vibe. Just plain rude!!

   Used Thorley for family law. Case took years in the court system but thorley were always one step ahead to make our case stronger. quick reports (emails) after appearing at court on my behalf. Been recommending to everyone as service and professionalism is prob the best in Edinburgh and all lawyers highly respected in the court room from what i seen during the times i've appeared. Would use again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

   I contacted this firm of solicitors by email on a Monday seeking very basic legal assistance which I would have been paying for myself. Since no response was received by Thursday lunchtime I decided to give them a phone call. I was met with a recorded message which I decided was not much help. I then sent a further email asking for someone to contact me by 5:00om Friday. It is now approaching 7:00pm and I have received no response. I have run my own business for eighteen years and my feedback is still 100%. It is not difficult to keep customers happy. Just try your best every day and aim to get things right first time. How a firm of Edinburgh Solicitors can operate like Thorley Stephenson do is beyond my understanding. One star is one too many. Now I will start looking for another firm of Solicitors.
