Such a great and affordable day out. My son absolutely loved handling the reptiles. He is still speaking about them 3 weeks on.

Amazonia is a fantastic place to visit for families, kids, and anyone who loves wildlife. The indoor rainforest is full of colourful birds, reptiles, monkeys, and fascinating insects, making it both fun and educational. The enclosures are well cared for, and there are plenty of information boards and friendly staff happy to answer questions. It feels like stepping into a real rainforest, especially with the warm tropical atmosphere. A great day out that combines learning with adventure – definitely worth a visit!

We had an incredible time at Amazonia! The staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the animals. The variety of species was amazing, from reptiles and birds to exotic mammals, each one more fascinating than the last. The animal handling sessions were worth extra pound which lasted for 15 to 20 minutes, offering a hands-on experience that was both fun and educational.

Nice place to visit. It's indoor tropical rainforest, here is not so big but it's good.

Popular place, lots to see and do and the extra £1.25 for the handling session is worth it.

Great place to bring the kids for a visit. Not the largest of places but good variety of animals. All look in great condition and birds in full plumage. Easy to see the animals and week laid out. Lots of little creepy Crawley's to freak the kids out with. With the entrance fee. Nice little shop at the end as well

Amazing place but before going make sure your child is aware of looking at scary snakes and spiders

Great day out for the kids, takes around 30 minutes to walk round. There is interactive bits, for a hands on experience. You can also take part in the handling sessions, these are great and only £1.50 per person! Lots of reptiles/birds. Staff were nice, talking to kid. Little gift shop at the end - reasonably priced.

Took my 8 month old baby girl here and she loved looking at the big fish and the little black monkeys at the beginning of the exhibit. They were fantastic! Its great to walk around and get a feel for a rainforest but it gets very warm which is to be expected since that's needed to maintain the plants and the enclosures. So dress down for going around. I did find it a little disappointing you go round once and out...and as its one way you can't go back and see exhibits you enjoyed. Not sure if that is just Covid guidelines just now though. Anyway definitely would return when animal handling is back on. Great for families and can go enjoy other areas of M&Ds after so can enjoy a full day out.
