   Well this is an absolute gem of a wee zoo,lots of parking and the zoo is well kept with lovely staff there are some animals inside but outside is where it's at the garden is lovely to sit and ponder if needs must and listen to the chirping of all the beautiful birds to see and some other cracking animals (I don't won't to spoil) it's a nice day out it can be quick to go round and see everything but then you have the beauty of the country park to see right afterwords.

   Calderglen Country Park is the perfect day out near Glasgow. The zoo is small but full of charm, with South American animals like coatis, capuchin monkeys, iguanas, and tropical birds. Great for kids and adults alike! The surrounding park is huge, with beautiful woodland trails, riverside walks, waterfalls, and play areas.    We went as a family of 4, 2 adults & 13yr old and 6yr. Got there for doors opening to the zoo at 10am - tickets were a total of £12 all together! Kids enjoyed seeing the animals and areas are clean, staff are friendly. Cafe is reasonably priced - we however brought a picnic Kids played for ages in the park before we went on one of the trails. Would definitely go again and would recommend for a cheap family day out!

   Great value for money! Spent more money on drinks and toys than the entrance fee. Enclosures are great and animals seem well looked after. The inside had a great selection of plants and information on them. Was lovely to see all the different plants and flowers outside attracting bees and other wildlife, added to the calm atmosphere. The park at the back of zoo was a source of great entertainment for my niece and completed the day.

   Nice kids day out... It was nice sunny day so very busy, had to park at the overfill area, my kids loved the time in Zoo, it was nice and hot inside... Good few animals to show the kids around. It was worth first time, may be will go again...

   Paid £3 to get in, which would represent amazing value at twice the price! Only a tiny zoo, but still enough to keep the kids interested for an hour, probably longer if the weather doesn't for the animals outside into hiding. Couple with the rest of the park's facilities, this is a great place for a half day out.

   Not a huge site. A simple walk round with brief look at animals and garden should take nor more than around half hour. £1.80 each to get in which you can't really grumble at if it helps with maintenance of the animals. some different displays in the conservatory and outside from my last visit. it's not a huge site but hard standing paths, plenty of benches and enclosures all have clear boards describing what is inside them and fun boards for photo opportunities. there is also a covered area here families and groups can enjoy a break or picnic and there are some mini diggers for the kids to play on. we were lucky that the rain held off while we looked around outside and along with the animals it was nice to enjoy the autumn colour alongside the last of the summer perennials
