The good thing about Argos in Warminster, is that it's actually an Argos and not an Argos inside a Sainsbury's. Warminster Argos, is the only Argos that's an actual Argos for many miles. Argos in Warminster is what all Argos stores should be, Argos stores and not a side attraction within a supermarket like a bakery.
Whilst collection of product was efficient - it is quite another story when attempting a return. The shark wandvac 2.0 that I’d purchased turned out to be brittle plastic tat. I took the product out the box, assembled the power base and quickly realised it was poorly made and decided on a speedy return. The base would not disassemble and I didn’t want to risk breaking the brittle plastic. The shop assistant stated that it had been plugged in and therefore it was a used product despite no vacuuming taking place. Avoid this product and Argos, they’re not honest brokers that consumers can rely on.
I often use Argos Warminster to pick up equipment and supplies for our martial arts school, Gracie Barra Frome Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and they’ve always been reliable. Ordering online for Click & Collect is quick and easy, and the staff are friendly and efficient when you arrive to collect your items. Stock availability is usually great, and it’s convenient knowing I can get what I need for the school without any hassle. A really handy store for both personal and business purchases.
Absolutely awful customer service. The female assistant straight out refused a refund on a blood pressure monitor bought on line due to hygiene reasons as I’d opened the box. Told me I had removed tamper seals which quite obviously were not there. I explained that nowhere in the description had it said the cuff size, which was small, she then replied I should have done my homework! The ‘manager’ was even worse (yes I did end up swearing, which I apologised for). When I told him about they online description he just said ‘I don’t know about that’ so I asked him to check, which he totally ignored & then started calling me ‘madam’ in a very condescending tone. Just a shame no stars are not possible. Went to another store today who couldn’t have been more helpful & sorted everything.
I bought a toaster. Since it was too small for me, I wanted to return it and get a bigger one. Warmmester argos also said they couldn't replace it because I have fingerprints. I'm very curious how can I open the box without touching the box without fingerprint. rob every customer once
Anyone buying a steam iron, my advise is to check that it does not have water in it, before leaving the store. It was a complete BAD experience at this ARGOS store.
I've been in here a few times, staff have always been friendly and helpful and the service is also efficient. The most recent time I visited, the product listed on the website (that I bought) and the one that I received were different designs. I assume this is because of a newer model being available, but them not updating the photos on the website. Although it's probably a one-off, when a different design comes out and looks quite significantly different from the existing one, I do think it would be good for them to update the website ASAP so as to reflect it and so that customers know what they'll receive. However, this isn't a fault of the store and the staff were helpful in trying to resolve the issue and offered to refund it. The slightly lower score reflects the fact that although it was handled well, I left without the product that I had specifically travelled there to get but most experiences with this store have been positive!
Ordered a couple of items and staff were very helpful, even helped to carry heavy items to the car.
Out of all the Argos stores closest to me this is the friendliest and most efficient. The staff actively try to help me with my purchases, even taking the time to show me how to use the new computer style catalogues. Once shown I couldn't believe how easy it was to use the self service.....thank you Warminster staff.
With a large car park and plenty of parking spaces this is really good for making shopping easy, it took a bit of time to get served but as soon as I had placed my order and paid my purchases arrived at the collection point quickly so I was very pleased. I will use click and collect next time to speed things up. An excellent Argos with helpful staff.
