   I was recommended Howden’s by my builder who has an account with them. When their representative came to measure my kitchen on 8th February, I gave her a plan of what I wanted drawn to scale, which she took away with her after measuring my kitchen herself. She sent me a plan on 21st February, however I was unsure about the colour. Following this I was invited to an appointment to discuss any changes at the branch on 9th March, during which I noticed 450mm units had been included in her plan. When I questioned this, she eventually agreed she must have got her measurements wrong, because 500mm would fit, which she changed on her computer. We also discussed several changes and storage units I wanted included. Following the visit I received a plan and an estimate on 15th March, the plan being completely different from what had been discussed at the meeting, while the estimate still included the 450mm units and a 300mm base unit needed was completely missing. I immediately responded to this and have sent itemised details, indicting exactly what was wrong with the estimate and have heard nothing back since. Now almost a month has expired since hearing from Howden’s, while my builder has been on hold waiting for the plans to be finalised. I feel I have been brushed aside, all because I was vigilant enough to see the faults in the plan and estimate they sent me. Is it wrong to expect an accurate plan and estimate? Needless to say I am very upset due to all the time wasted and unimpressed with the service I have receive.

   Went to look at a kitchen for my daughter, and asked if its possible for someone to come and measure the kitchen up and do a design,, iwas told someone can come out this afternoon at 3PM, I was chuffed to bits. A very friendly manager came and measured up and that we would get our quote back by Thursday this week. Brilliant.

   We had a really lovely experience with Howdens in Trowbridge in October 2020. My mother was severely ill at the time, and not able to get out of her car to look around the store as she was hoping to. Rather than waving us away, the shop staff were extremely kind and patient, bringing samples and options out to her in the carpark, and explaining different products with her. Despite being extremely busy, they treated Mum with kindness, dignity and respect. Sadly, Mum recently passed away. Thanks to the kindness of those at Howdens Trowbridge, Mum was able to pick the kitchen and flooring designs she wanted to for her house renovation, and we are able to deliver on the restoration in Mum's memory. It brings such comfort to the family to know we can deliver on the choices that Mum made, and that she got so excited about. Thank you.

   Staff were polite on the phone when I spoke with them so I've not gone for 1 star. Used there lock down design service, posted them measurements photos etc. This was around May time. Rang and chased several times to get a design done. Last thing I was told was a designer had our file and would be in touch. That was over two months ago. One of their competitors is supplying our 5 figure kitchen, as they had the time for us. Maybe good for trade etc but didn't seem to have any interest in individual family kitchen design.
