Walked in to the 2staff members stood sat on the machines chatting had to make it very clear I was trying to get to the machine for them to reluctantly move their conversation. Then asked for my ID for a 16+ video game which was the whole reason I drove to this Argos (I would normally understand this but I am a 26 year old man so found this to just be condescending for a 16+ game). Felt as though they were just doing this to be rude as they seemed annoyed about earlier, making remarks like “I’d ID you any day”

Bring a tent, because you’ll be waiting in queue for 3 business days, there are too many common issues that make waiting for your product unbearable, staff are slow and rude, we waited in queue for 30minutes just to be told only half of our order was ready, the manager seems off the rails and clearly enjoys instigating problems with customers. Good luck because you’ll need it

Staff that don’t understand consumer law. I bought a PS5 disc drive that became faulty after 9 months, the women said I have to get a diagnostic report from Sony for them to do anything. This is not correct or legally enforceable. It is Argos responsibility to deal with it, there is no legal obligation for me to have to deal with Sony or get a “diagnostic report”. Your staff need to understand consumer law or stop lying. This is not how the consumer acts right law works at all. Couple that with rude staff and a shockingly poor experience.

What's the purpose of a return policy if you can't return an item that you've tested and are not satisfied with? I opened the box and plugged it in only to find that its performance was subpar to competitors. So I filed a return the same day and packed it up exactly how I got it, but Argos wouldn't accept returns as it was now used. Argos needs to change their returns policy. Also, the manager of this store was a bit of a Karen. Most other younger colleagues were kind and helpful.

Went to buy an SSD. They have the item in store, but won't sell over the counter. They want me to order online or in-store and collect it tomorrow or pay for same day delivery. And the kicker is they are £10 more expensive than Amazon and won't price match. So I can order from Amazon and get it tomorrow anyway, why pay £10 more to buy from Argos and also Pay £3+ for delivery. What's the point of having a physical store if you don't walk 20 steps to the back of the store and pick up what the customer wants? Make it make sense Argos.

Absolutely rubbish you buy an item and as soon as you open it and it doesn't meet your expectations you can't return it even after 1 hour if I knew before I wouldn't have bought anything from argos, all accepted returns except argos will never buy theirs again. Another note, too young shop assistants who don't know in the slightest how to behave with customers too rude these young guys.

Served by Khan. Wonderful service. Helped me and some staff recommend some products as I was unsure.

Nice staff. However some of the younger staff were slightly rude. Not sure how old they were but still looked like teens shouldn’t be employed there realy. Shud be out on their bikes doing paper rounds. I asked to use the loo and one teen boy turned me away said it’s only for staff but I have diabetes and needed to get in there to do my insulin. I told them this but they ignored me and laughed. Asked to speak wiv manager and was told she was busy

Very good customer service. I had a faulty Christmas present and I couldn’t find a receipt. I came to the store and I’ve got a help straight away. Chris was the sales assistant, very kind and helpful person.5 stars for Chris. Unfortunately the car was out of stock so I decided to wait for restocking.

Placed a order for a bistro set but had to collect this from another store the other side of down. Well parts missing and was really disappointed , rang the store were I collected it from but no help. Then did one of those live chats and it was like talking to a robot and almost gave up. Decided to come to my local store in Filton and met a lovely young man called Chris who went above and beyond , great customer service, so friendly, helpful and very professional. I can not recommend this store enough, every time I have shopped here the staff have also been brilliant but today was even more so , can’t thank you enough.
