I had a message my item Argos was ready to collect (Argos at Sainsburys Street) so drove to the Street only to be told not here, out of stock, you'll have to have a refund!
A dystopian hellscape. It's a huge large open space with a few terminals dotted around the outside and a pile of 'jumble-sale' reduced items in the corner. Jewellery counter closed too - it's very sad what is happening to Argos
Visited on 28.02.2025 while shopping at Tesco. We purchased a few items both through the delivery point and also items for sale from a shelf. I was served by the manager who was very friendly and professional- Based on my visit I was very impressed with the branch.
Bought a speaker, clearly been opened, used and then returned. Not a massive problem but paid full price for a second hand item.
Bought a Ps5 Controller 1 month ago and its already broken and i have been keeping good care of it and they say they cannot do a refund.... Keep away from here
Argos was made great by Jonny and Gareth. The fact the took that man out of the store for stealing really took my breath away... Shame they took his wheelchair after though... Poor Tony
Staff were very short and snappy. Not at all helpful with the item either... I wasn't asked if I wanted help to carry out the furniture which was heavy nor was it put onto sack trucks. It was just dumped on top of the side for me to struggle out with! I went to the yeovil store earlier on in the day and nothing was too much trouble for them so I'd suggest going there if you want to collect anything you'll get far better service
My sister went in to buy a fridge freezer at the weekend, we chose one and it said it was available for delivery. So we went up to pay, gave the address and they said it was unavailable. Did this about three times in total. So went back got a selection of 3 to try and the first one was available to deliver on Monday. Bought this one and thought it was all fine, got a message saying to contact Argos as there was an issue. Contacted them and they said there was an issue and it would take almost a month to be delivered. So my sister bought a fridge freezer elsewhere and got it the same day with no issues. Will be getting a refund and not buying from there again. Once or twice is fine to have an issue, everyone makes mistakes. However we spoke to 2 people (one being the manager) and we still had problems. Will not recommend at all.
