Went to buy "cabinet/furniture " paint to revamp a kitchen. Unfortunately only had 2 tins in stock of our preferred colour, as part of a 3 for 2 offer. Had to drive to Cribbs Causeway branch to take advantage of the special offer.

Considering the size of the store there were a number of things I wanted they didn't have. Store staff were helpful in looking things up and locating some of them. Prices okay

We recently had the pleasure of being assisted by George at B&Q in Yate while searching for a solution to remove green algae from our fence posts. His thorough understanding of the products and their applications was immediately evident, and he patiently explained the best way to solve the problem. He also suggested a great product for us to use that he himself had used in the past. George also saved us a lot of future problems by advising us not to apply a waterproofing solution. What truly set George apart was his genuine interest in our project to protect our fence now and in the future and thanks to his expert guidance, we feel reassured and confident that we can eradicate the green algae and maintain our fence in the best possible way. Thanks George!

Went in for a bathroom design - Amelie was absolutely fantastic. She was so engaging, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She designed a lovely bathroom for us so thank you. Linda and Tasha also helped us in store today - two more great individuals. Both really helpful. Great customer service today - thank you all.

Always low on stock, can never get everything you need there. Not sure what their problem is. Really frustrating as they have spent money on doing it up but on stocking up their shelves.

Friendly staff and good range. Items aren't always marked with the right price so maybe check if on a budget. We have been caught out on 2 occasions now

Why have an online stock system that supposedly shows how many of a product you have in store, if when you turn up you have none. This has happened multiple times now! unacceptable! Do a stock take and sort it out, or ditch the system all together. Waste of my time and I'm sure many others.

Made a detour on the way from Bristol to Dursley to buy a couple of bricks I needed. Found 20 or 30 on a shelf, marked at 47p. Took them to the checkout. Apparently they're not for sale. I was understandably upset. If they don't sell them, take them off the shelf! Alternatively, if they don't sell them, then just give them to me. Rubbish.

Fantastic customer service. Called into B&Q Yate today to try and source a replacement toilet, with specific water inlet option - Served by an unbelievably helpful young lady called Evie, who went out of her way to check and get answers on all of my questions. Evie was a very happy and helpful B&Q employee and a credit to the store. Thank you.
