Lovely place in a gorgeous part of Glasgow. I’d recommend walking up through the park before an exam, really helps you relax (yes even in the rain it did!) Came in for an exam and was put completely at ease as by the staff. The atmosphere was very chilled full of people who love language learning. Was lovely hearing people talking in their target language to each other for practice. The exam was run really smoothly, felt silly for being so stressed leading up to it! There’s a clock in the room and the exam leader prompts you with how much time you have left. Nice tea/coffee/water station for any visitor to use. Please do add to the donation box if you can, it helps keeps amenities like that available. Lovely library Will definitely have the Glasgow institute in mind for future exams.

I have studied at the Goethe-Institut Glasgow for a number of years now and it's a great place to study German. The location is great, the staff are friendly and very welcoming, the courses are great and their library is also a fantastic resource.

For many years, Goethe-Instituts such as in Glasgow and the others in Great Britain have ensured that our German language, society, culture and politics are conveyed abroad. Such mediation strengthens global networking and understanding for one another, is deeply peace-making at its core and a real mediator at this location. I'm looking forward to collaborating with the Goethe-Institut in Glasgow, perhaps on an exhibition

I am not learning German myself, but I have friends and family who are learning and I can just say that Goethe is a super supportive organisation. No matter what kind of difficulties you have, they will do their best to assist you. They have helped a friend of mine in a situation that wasn't even related to learning German itself. These people are not only extraordinary teachers and examiners, they are also willing to go the extra mile for you. If you want to learn German and feel well-supported throughout your whole journey, Goethe is a 5-star-first-choice recommendation!

I've visited the Goethe Institut as an external candidate for a few examinations now, and find the staff here are always extremely friendly and helpful. I had some travel problems on my most recent visit and they were very considerate and as supportive as it was possible to be. Unfortunately it's not feasible for me to attend courses here, but if it were a possibility, I would without a doubt. For anybody who has that option, I'd recommend the Institut wholeheartedly.
