   I visited the college on the opening day to ask for some information about apprenticeship opportunities for my son, as I am considering enrolling him in a business course in the future. When I approached the business and professional service front desk, I explained that I only wanted some general information for an apprenticeship for my son . However, the lady I spoke was rude and questioned me why my son wasn’t present and kept going he should be here .I tried to clarify that I was simply gathering information at this stage, but she continued asking me about his date of birth and why i was there when my son was only in year 10 .I thought the opening day was for everyone who wanted to explore the courses and the college. Unfortunately, her tone came across as quite rude, and I felt embarrassed in front of others. I was only there to learn more about the courses and see the college environment. That said, I am still glad I visited, as it gave me a chance to see the atmosphere for myself , based of my bad experience I have decided to explore other colleges. I would kindly suggest providing some additional customer service training to staff, so that visitors feel welcomed and supported when seeking information. Thank you for your understanding.

   Don't even want to give any stars to a place that encourages discrimination but here we go. Absolutely appalling and discriminatory! Avoid this place at all costs if you have an EHCP, a disability, or are a vulnerable young adult. The Hair and Beauty Therapy department should be ashamed of themselves. The way they treat people is despicable and utterly unacceptable. One member of staff, Teresa, along with her manager and colleague, displayed behaviour that was nothing short of disgraceful. During an enrolment, they had the audacity to say things like “you won’t get anywhere after the first year” and “you won’t go further in the industry because you have a disability.” How dare they?! This is blatant discrimination, ignorance, and prejudice. To make such condescending, offensive, and damaging remarks to a vulnerable young adult is not only unprofessional, it’s cruel. It demonstrates a complete lack of understanding about disabilities, equality, and inclusivity. These attitudes are toxic, harmful, and reinforce everything that is wrong in society today. No one – absolutely no one – has the right to tell a person with a disability that they “can’t do a job” or that their future is limited because of their condition. People with disabilities are capable, talented, and deserving of respect, opportunity, and encouragement, not to be dismissed and demeaned. The staff here need urgent training in disability awareness, safeguarding, and equality legislation. Their words and behaviour were not only inappropriate but could have a devastating impact on a vulnerable young person’s confidence and future. We will be taking this matter further, as it is appalling that in this day and age, an educational department can be so backward, discriminatory, and abusive in their attitudes. My advice: Do not go near this department if you value dignity, respect, or fairness. They are unfit to support vulnerable learners, and their discriminatory behaviour should be exposed.

   The BTEC level 3 business at Conel has given me immense opportunities, I started not knowing much and was very much in the dark in terms of career progression. My teachers have therefore given us the choice to be part of a program that enabled us to be mentored, through this program I went to networking event and even secured an internship. My teachers who have been with me for the past two years has really contributed to my business growth not just academically but also commercially which I am very grateful for. I would recommend this course especially if you’re seeking to reach your dream career and particularly with business as it will open many doors even outside the traditional business/corporate roles.

   I’ve been in College of Haringey, Enfield for three years studying Business and it has been amazing. My tutors, Saj, Ms Betty, Ms Funmi, and Ms Ruksana have been lovely and supportive. They really helped me through every course work and exams to achieve better grades. I would recommend this college to anyone looking forward to get a better education in the field of Business.

   Hello, my name is Luciana. I'm here to tell you a little about what I've been going through here in London. I've always wanted to study in this country. So I did everything I could to stay in the country and to do that, to have access to school and to learn a language that is so beautiful and that can help me a lot in the future. I've been studying at this college for a year. I've learned a little because I didn't know anything, not even the English alphabet. But my experience at this college hasn't been good at all. I feel frustrated. I think the teachers don't have patience with the students. Well, a year has passed, so I was happy because I thought I would improve a little, learn to speak and communicate with my friends and places I go. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to work out. What I see and feel from the teachers is that they want to teach people who know how to speak English, and I don't know how to speak it. I'm scared. I get nervous when the teachers talk to me because they make bad faces at the students when they get stuck and can't answer what they ask. But I don't understand why they act like that because we're going to school to learn. If I looked for a college to study, it's because I really don't know how to speak English. I've never studied English in my life. My dream is to learn English. But I don't think I'll be able to do it. I feel depressed when a teacher makes fun of a student when the student doesn't know how to speak English. And I'm going through this. I don't want to go to college, because when I go, I go through things that hurt me, I feel humiliated in front of the whole class. Today is my third day of class and I was once again embarrassed in front of everyone. The teacher asked a question that I've never heard in my life. I didn't know how to answer it, and she made a mocking face like, "I can't believe you don't know." Like, "What are you doing in my class?" And to make the story better, she said that there's an exam tomorrow, like a test or something like that, and I don't even know what it's about because classes have been going on for three days and I haven't studied a single subject with her. Every day I feel embarrassed. I feel like a fish out of the aquarium. What was supposed to be good for me, which was studying, is now a nightmare. I'm going to college, but in reality I didn't want to show up, but there I feel like nothing. I had other expectations. I thought it would be great to study in London with English teachers. But it's not like that. I'm in shock, in a terrible depression. I want to give up and never go back to studying. I'm still going. Tomorrow, we'll see how this exam or test goes, I don't know. We'll see what happens. But in truth, I'm scared and very afraid.

   SIA course, during there was this ADHD students, who behaving like he knows me rather minding his own A* . I never such disgusting student in my life, no will even give that person a job to clean a toilet even, such is the nature of this person. I heard nothing from this college.

   Nothing here other than waste of time, I was funded course for few weeks for SIA. Canning Town. Is has been 2 months I still heard nothing from them, nothing.

   This college is the best I've ever been to, the IT department gives you a lot of motivation to help you progress to the next course. They have a safe environment for students who would like to learn. They give feedback to students without asking just so they could improve their work. They also give out motivation to help students who are well behind and need to catch up. They provide careers as well as work experience to help students get their senior jobs which they can then improve their skills and get the dream job they would like in the near future. I would have given this a 5 star if the English department would show the same lack of motivation as the IT department did.

   amazing college!!! the teachers go above and beyond to make sure you are well taught. the coursework and assignments are easy to follow, with clear instructions on how to complete them. The college also has a safe environment where everybody feels inclusive. All in all, it is the ideal place to get a qualification and learn valuable skills to enhance one's future.
