i go bromley college and camper support aymen is so nice and welcoming, place wouldn’t be as fun without him! he’s very helpful. definitely recommend this college, teachers here are lovley!
The security guard (Campus support) Aymen is so lovely makes everyone feel very safe and always has a smile on his face as he is very welcoming makes collage a much better place it wouldn’t be as good without him
I enrolled at this college last year and unfortunately my experience has been extremely negative. During my time here I faced serious difficulties, including homelessness and safeguarding concerns. I raised these issues with the principal, Dawn Buttle but instead of receiving understanding and support, I was met with a complete lack of care or compassion. Rather than offering help or guidance, she dismissed my situation, told me to “go work” because I was on Universal Credit, and made comments that I believe were discriminatory and inappropriate. As a student already struggling with personal hardships, this treatment broke my spirit. It felt like my education and wellbeing were not valued at all. Teachers also failed to provide meaningful support when I needed it most, leaving me feeling abandoned by the very place that was supposed to help me build a better future. I have kept evidence of my experiences, and if I had the financial means, I would absolutely take legal action. This college does not put students first, nor does it create a safe, inclusive, or supportive learning environment. My experience has been heartbreaking, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking genuine education and support.
for zero stars. South East College has been a terrible experience for me. The principal, Dawn Buttle shouldn’t even allowed to be principal she does not care about students, their education, or their wellbeing. When I was struggling with serious mental health problems and safeguarding issues, I reached out for support but was completely ignored. Instead of helping, the college pushed me away and refused to give me a fair chance to continue my studies. No student should ever be treated like this, especially when they are asking for help. This college needs to take responsibility for how badly it handles vulnerable students.
Well where do i start?..... The amount of problems this college caused me Do not study here waste of time principal is power crazed along side all the other staff that work here. Also if you want to be a half decent Biomedical Scientist do not study there foundation degree programs taught myself 85% of the time. Paid £6000 a year lectures were below par along with all the other aspects of the course which looked like a 4 year old made the power point slides my lecturers taught from. Given the quality of the teaching LSEC also treat you like your a teenager i got yelled at rudely for walking into college for wearing headphones and they say oh its part of our policy for good learning really? Your a University Student but they treat like a college student given i also held a UOG id card. even though your a mature student support from the college was also awful. Virtually not existent approached them numerous times about help with employment after i left but was turned away rudely by the staff telling me to get on with it. Do not waste your time on there Foundation degree programs study your degree directly with UOG . The LSEC Brand as a whole has a level of arrogance. Really makes me wonder why there is staff shortage... There... Worst two years of my life here do not waste your time. I was also told i could use my Lecturers as referees for employment when i left but this is no longer the case i called them only to be greeted by a really rude receptionist telling me they simply do not work there anymore and its none of my business if they work there or not. LSEC caused of alot stress in my further studies and my Career in a few a words they wasted my time they were unprofessional and rude absolute joke of a college!
Experience with Beauty and Hair department. I had a full body massage there the other week for the first time. I thought the lady that did my massage and lady on the front desk were very professional and the massage waa good. I wasn't as sure about one of the area's next to us: Sounded like the students were mucking around and not taking the session seriously, only when the lecturer was popping in. Definitely made this experience seem less relaxing. In regards to the salon, I haven't had my hair done. My appointment for cut and colour has been cancelled 3 times and I booked up the original appointment ages ago. I feel for the department, if exam details and changes are getting to them late, but it also isn't great for external people experiencing the college for the first time. I'm not retired and can't just change up appointment times at the drop of a hat. From my experience so far, I can't see me returning anytime soon. I like reliable services that don't let me down and this is not the experience I have had here (even my massage was reschduled before I came in). The massage wasn't bad so I've given this 2 stars, but on a service level, not good at all.
AVOID their free study programs! I had an awful experience dealing with London South East College in terms of claiming my certification for attended course. And it is not just me - the whole group haven’t received anything from them upon the completion. It was a free 1-month business administration course, completed in August 2022. I have completed all the assignments needed and sent them to our teacher. From September till December I was chasing our teacher asking about the certificate, when will I get the one and she was telling that soon I should get it. After a while she simply said that she doesn’t work there anymore. In the end of January I have contacted college directly, explained them the situation, asked for help and asked them to resolve the issue. They promised to investigate. One month has passed, nothing has changed and they are just simply ignoring my emails. This caused me a lot of stress and held me back in persuing my career.
Referral from Universal Credit: free Business Administration course. Approx Dates 17.06.22 - 14.07.22 I would only give this 1 star to Verna she was brilliant but the other part of the course was like the tutor Tracie didn't even want to be there! Until now the whole group has still not received our certificates even though as a group we have complained to the college. We had 2 teachers - Tracie Rowe and Verna Duncan.

I was transferred from Plumstead to Bromley and let me tell you I hate everything about it. First of all the toilets on the ground floor and second floor are dirty and smelly. Secondly, everyone is so unproachable. They have their own cliché groups. Thirdly, it's sooooo far away from where I live like 4 buses and around 2hours and 30 minutes. They have no space to seat at lunchtime except for the outside area which is always dirty. They were teaching us about hygiene while their front is dirty. Everything is sooo far away from the campus I can't even walk to the food area because it takes around 30 by walk and the lunch is only 1 hour.
