Do not purchase travel money from this store. Gave a very poor rate when compared to their website and also charged me extra for a buy back guarantee without asking if I wanted it.
Yvonne did not let us down, when she was working from the Clydebank branch due to Milngavie being upgraded, we spoke to her about being asked to go to another hotel in Tenerife for evening Dinner which I was not happy about as I paid for Half board in the Cleopatra, anyway cut a long story short we asked to change Hotels and after a bit of Debate Yvonne advised us to try the conquistador Hotel as she had been there herself it was very Good. it was more that good it was excellent everything and more food great, rooms great, Staff where all wonderful and nothing was a problem for them I will return , Yvonne thank you for you recommendation it was Brilliant thanks again and I will now use the Milngavie store to book future holidays with Hayes. Upset that Jet 2 just expected us to do as we where told in the e-mail that they sent, no apology Nothing , i will try and book future holidays via TUE or someone else.

I would give zero stars if that option was available. Avoid like the plague! Wanted to exchange some Euros back into Sterling. Sounds simple enough, right? The ignorant blonde woman, behind the Bureau de Change window at this depressing excuse for a travel agent, kept coming up with different excuses for not accepting our Euros. The different excuses that were being said were totally made up on the spot. Then to add insult to injury, the woman without ever asking us where we are from, said “you would need to get these Euros exchanged in Spain.” Why? and Why Spain??? It turned out she had made an assumption that my mum (who’s a slightly darker shade of white) is from Spain. Without making any effort to at least have the decency to ask where we are from/where we reside! Incredible!!! We are from this country and we live less than a couple of miles away from this travel agency, however that’s besides the point. Absolutely taken aback by the xenophobic and unfriendly attitude displayed by this woman. Also, her excuses were pure B.S. as our Euros were gladly accepted and converted into Sterling at the RBS branch in Milngavie, just a few doors down from this Hays travel agency. End of the day, their loss!
GOOD PEOPLE & GOOD RATES I find that Hay's hold their own against other high street currency exchanges in offering competitive rates. The staff are always really knowledgeable and friendly. I was served by Avonne today and she could not have been more capable or engaging. Well done folks!.
Very poor customer service , they where very rude and giving me dirty looks when asking about holidays and exchange rates , will be avoiding in future. 2 separate employees 1 of which an assistant manager.
Very poor customer service from Milngavie store.Phoned at various times in the day but they simply do not answer.When,after my holiday was cancelled,Yvonne phoned me,she had the brass neck to say "i could have jumped in the car and popped into the shop as they have been very busy "INCREDIBLE. i was offered the chance to salvage something of my £180 deposit from Easyjet holidays,but that very day.I had by then decided NOT to put another £1 of business there way. I have informed all of our extended family in the area to stay well clear.
