The college itself has its downsides, but the course I took (level 2 plumbing) was great, learnt a lot in the year I was there and would’ve stayed for level 3 if I had the chance, 100% worth it if you want to have a plumbing career especially due to some of the staff in the plumbing department
This place is producing people who walk around during lunch and evening and trash Debden and the tube. There's no discipline at this college. And clearly tutors don't care as long as they have an employment. If you intend to send your kids there, be mindful that they will come out worse.
I did my bridal makeup short course with Iram from this college and it was amazing. The way she taught was so good. She helped a-lot and gave us tips and tricks about advance makeup techniques even in very short time classes. Thanks alot for being so kind to us.
I am highly recommending the course Pottery and Ceramics for adults , as it is fantastic and so meditative. The teacher Amanda is very friendly and knowledgeable. The classes are once a week in the evening and easy to fit after work.
My daughter has transfered to this college from a college in London ,she has been there for around 5 weeks and I can’t express how much better this college is compared to London. She is studying Hairdressing and her teacher Rob is just amazing! Very patient and caring and bends over backwards for his students I hope the college knows what a credit he is to the them My daughter has learned so much in the 5 weeks that she has been here than she did in the London school of beauty therapy

They offer quality education in a very good facility. The students are generally calmer than their compatriots elsewhere.
We were only interested in law, but on our visit we saw plenty of different careers avaliable. First impressions very good.
I worked so hard for my GCSE English only for a member of staff to mess it up for me . I was given the wrong finish time which was put on the board so I could watvh the clock and the finish time to make sure I finish my exam on time. This member of staff which I will not name him because I do like him. He put the wrong time on the board then later realised it was wrong and told me to stop my work so I had to stop and didn't get to write my story worth 40 marks. I reported it to staff they did nothing about it its now 4 oct 2022 I must say don't recommend this college to your children or anyone they messed up my exams by putting the wrong time and gave me low marks when it wasn't my fault. They didn't apologise or fix the issue I am very frustrated at this because I worked so hard to make sure I finish my work all of it on time.
If I could give Epping Forest New City College zero stars I would. The treatment the Learning Support team gave my son was awful. Do not send your teenager here and expect any support from them. Only interested in funding and covering their backs.
