Seen for myself and heard from a couple other people. Be warned about staff as they laugh, stare at you, and run around hiding and giggling and talking about you when they’re under the impression they can’t be heard or seen. Don’t know what one of them are even laughing about with his ugly mug. Only good few staff are the ones that have been around longer than all these new people. Makes for an unpleasant and uncomfortable shopping experience. Emailed complaints and have never heard a response and employees responsible for this pathetic, childish behaviour are still employed.
I went in the Coop after work tonight and I found the staff in there very rude. There were 2 staff on the sweet section which I went in for and they were just stood there. Eventually they moved so I could see what I wanted. The girls on the checkout didn't even bother to ask if I had a membership card. Which she was supposed to be. I won't be going in the there again cos the price for chocolate was ridiculous.
Small shop conveniently located on Wigan Road. It sells a mix of everything, despite its small size, so you can generally find what you're looking for - or a close alternative. Staff are friendly, and there's normally plenty of them around the shop should you need any help. The store is generally clean, tidy and well stocked.
This was a very traumatic experience. I went in for the second time today and there was no chocolate twists. This is by far the best item in the store, yet on two different times thoughtout the day the store did not have any. I will be taking my custom to a different co op store in the future.

Brand new built convenience store that has replaced the old Ropers Arms pub. Friendly staff and great prices. Carparking at rear. ATM outside.
