I see a lot of positive reviews however my experience was very different. I stood in a queue for close to 20 minutes while a staff team of 4 barely served 1 person. 2 people left the queue in frustration before I too gave up. The business model is good but it drastically suffers when snails and sloths could operate a more efficient service. Personally, I feel there is dire need for some staff efficiency training and the only reason I am not scoring this branch lower is because CEX as a whole is a good business model.

Out of all the CeX branches Iβve visited, the one in Bath has the best atmosphere and chill vibes by far. When I went, it wasnβt crowded at all, and because itβs tucked away on a small street corner, it felt like I was exploring a secret spot for collectors. Finding a hidden gem here, whether itβs a game or a Blu-ray Iβve been searching for, feels like unlocking a little treasure. The last time I visited, it was especially relaxing upstairs where the Blu-ray section is. The quiet, peaceful ambience makes browsing a real pleasure. If you enjoy taking your time and hunting for great finds, this is the CeX to visit.

Staff is more than often quite helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable of their stock and if not, they will find an answer for your query. Stock is actually quite good for such a small shop, from new-ish releases to retro and computing.

This time, CEX did a great job helping me resolve my issue. The staff was helpful and professional, ensuring I received a working console with all the necessary accessories. I really appreciate their efforts in making things right. While no business is perfect, I believe that sometimes, products should be thoroughly checked before being sold to customers. It would help prevent the need for exchanges, saving everyone time and effort. I also felt a little unwelcome this time, and I wonder if it was due to the previous review I left. I hope my feedback was taken in the right spirit, as my goal is only to offer advice for improvement. Customers are paying for their items, so ensuring things are handled smoothly and fairly benefits both the business and customers. I went in today to sell some things to declutter before moving. The consultant that helped was so rude. It has made me not want to come into your store again. I understand it might have been a long day but that is not my fault and there is no excuse for this to be taken out on me.

Checked the online stock checker to see if they had x 2 items I was searching for β¦ it said they did. Got there before it opened and the online stock checker still said items were available. Store opens over 10minutes late, no apologies from staff. Ask where the items are, made to stand around for 30mins to then be told βoh whatβs probably happened is the label was probably a reprint and theyβve been soldβ. Waste of a morning to be honest as we only went to Bath based on the stock checker and we were the first in the store so could not have been sold already that morning.

Good stock, decent shop, but I've bought two games from them that wouldn't run in my playstation. They're happy to exchange or refund, but suggests they don't test the discs much which is annoying

Great shop, really good value for money! I picked up Project Cars 2, which is about Β£45 from the xbox store for only Β£8!! Worth a visit, it also has Xbox original games which I love!
