   There are some bargains to be had but very narrow aisles and can be difficult to navigate through with a trolley, particularly with special offers dotted about the place.

   Have shopped at B& M regularly over the years. However, I will no longer be doing so. The company have a policy not to refund defective/ dead plants, shrubs or trees. I purchased 3 large bamboo plants £30 each. After 4 days one died. I contacted customer care and the store where I purchased them Burscough store. To be told, company policy is we don't give refunds on plants / trees etc. Disgraceful attitude and policy. Do not buy from B& M

   Bought toilet door hooks here yesterday. Suppose to stick on door but they turned out to be cheap tack hooks that wouldnt stick on door.only paid £4 so brought them back today to replace or exchange which I didnt think would be an issue .spoke to one guy with a bead there who was polite and said yes take them to till but another girl named Jessica (possibly manager) just smirked at me at said no you cant if you have no receipt your not getting anything .I said I only bought them yesterday and gave her the time and said you can check your camera and she refused and did so with pure delight and said a flat no.i said to her you just smirked at me through out this whole process and seemed to enjoy the fact she had this power over the situation.this store is always quiet when I go in there and possibly because of customer service like what jessica gives.a receipt should be given back to you at all times and not asked if you want one or not because then your not in a situation like I was today .I give B&M another 12 months in ringtail retail park and it will be closed and people like jessica can go on the dole or perhaps go on customer service improvement courses.i would give zero stars however I cant.i recommend home bargains instead .

   I'm really doubting that the bargain, very cheap, tag is valid any more. They pile it in and plenty of aisles of tut to browse if that's your thing, however I found prices creeping up to the rest of the budget supermarkets and there's not much point in shopping here rather than Aldi or Lidl now. They don't even have much choice of fabulosa.

   Free car park for 3hrs outside. Shop is bigger now they've taken over the unit next-door, but it's very cramped & over stocked inside. Plenty of patience required to try & make your way around. Lots of bargains to be had, so I hope they sort the plan of the store out.

   I was trying to exchange an item I had bought last week 6/9/2022. I had my receipt but was told by a very nice member of staff that he would have to speak to a supervisor. This lady had no intentions of speaking to me and only liaised with her colleague on the telephone until I insisted that she came and spoke to me. The item I had purchased did not have a sign or any indication that I couldn't exchange it. When I ask for the manager I was told she had gone to the toilet!!!. Eventually when the manageress Ms Cath Shivers.condesended to talk to one of her staff again on the telephone the answer was the same no exchange. On no occasion was my purchase looked at or checked by management or staff. The staff on the shop floor appear to be very helpful and hard working. Maybe Ms Shivers could take a leaf out of their book. The staff turn over in this store is extremely high. Maybe the management should be evaluated. A Very disappointed shopper.
