Genuinely the worst pharmacy iv ever delt with. Without fail always a 20 min wait that turns into 45mins to an hour while you sit about with your thumb up your bum and watch every tom derek and Harry come throught the door get severed and be on their way. 20 min wait for a prescription to wait a further 25 mins when you go in to collect it. Absolute shambles of a place.

I have to constantly call back and forth between them and my doctor because the pharmacy never bloody knows if they have my prescription, they are always either miss placing it, losing it or just straight up being lazy and not looking for it properly. There have been times where they say they don't have the prescription only for them to look again and find it, they are completely incompetent.

I can’t speak highly enough about my local pharmacy! Every time I visit, I’m met with friendly, helpful staff who are always ready to assist with a smile. The standout for me is Mariam, the pharmacist, who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure I have everything I need, whether it’s taking the time to explain medications or offering helpful advice with genuine care. It’s rare to find such dedication and kindness in one place. Thank you for making every visit such a positive experience!

I had a great experience at this pharmacy thanks to the wonderful pharmacist, Mariam. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed about my medication. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about their patients the way Mariam does. Her professionalism and compassion really stood out. Highly recommend this pharmacy ,especially if you get the chance to be helped by Mariam!

Rowlands pharmacy is under new management there has been a lot of changes taking place if anyone has any issues ask to speak with the manager Stuart Cree he is there to take any issues on board and help where he can. Staff will not tolerate abuse they are there to help and look after their customers who some have favoured Rowlands over other pharmacy's please be assured they are working with their customers to ensure they get what they are due some issues have been with GP services not the pharmacy. The pharmacy is clean bright with a large choice of goods and gifts on offer.

Zero stars for this so call pharmacy. Needed an emergency prescription. Doctors sent it at 9am in the morning on the tue. They had it. Explained it was an emergency due to loosing all my medication on a flight. So I hadn't had amy medication since the Friday before. She said it would be ready in the afternoon so I could come back. When back at 2pm & stood for 20mins while they where seriously searching the full shop to then be told it wouldn't be ready until the Wednesday???? Wot part of emergency prescription don't they understand. It was my heart medication that I need to take twice a day.

Zero star if I could. A few times now, the prescription is late. Instead of giving what's available they hold up the whole prescription. Some items cannot be missed on a daily basis, even ordering a week early it's still late. No one calls to tell you or ask the surgery to tell you. Avoid if you can. No customer care, no patience, no empathy and takes forever to serve you when you can see the all staff stands around chatting.

Horrible customer service - go to wells chemist across the road if you can. The lady in there is much nicer, more empathetic, knowledgeable and suggests alternatives if items not available. I haven’t been able to get the free vitamin d drops for my breast fed four month old and have tried several chemists. To be fair to this chemist, it’s the first time staff have explained to me that it’s a stock issue and not that I am just being refused the service. Still, a pretty unhelpful and cold attitude with no suggestions on other products or brands I could maybe buy online which I find negligent considering it’s relating to my baby’s health. The whole experience was extra frustrating as my GP had phoned this chemist in advance and a staff member had told them they had the vitamin d in stock so I walked a round trip of 4k to get here with a pram (not exactly the longest distance but it includes two giant hills). After failing to get the vitamin d with zero advice offered on when it would be back in stock, I asked for baby paracetamol because my daughter is getting her third round of vaccines in a few days. I was told this was fine, asked to fill out a form and go and wait for 15 mins. I agreed to wait and floated about the area. When i came back the staff member that served me and asked me to wait is nowhere to be seen and a pharmacist approaches me instead telling me she can’t give me the paracetamol without the red book due to safety concerns. I have never read on any NHS minor ailment information sheet that the red book is necessary for collecting paracetamol for potential vaccine induced fevers. I don’t carry the red book around with me so I was refused paracetamol based on the assumption that I am either a moron who is mindlessly plying my daughter with drugs, I am trying to intentionally harm her or just that I’m lying about her getting her vaccines. Just horrible.

Cannot get through to anybody line just busy and no other way to contact in urgent setting management have failed in organising this adequately. Why isn't there a hold system, or a call back system? Management should be ashamed.

I went in on Saturday morning and the young girl at the desk had just started. I needed to ask the pharmacy for advice and the poor wee soul was sent back to me 3 times to ask what had been told to her to ask. Pharmacy didn't come to speak to me and in the end phone NHS24. I feel if she had spoke to me herself much more would have been achieved. We are being advised to go to pharmacy for advice. Shocking service
