If I had the option to give 0 star I would! They never have the medicine we need, neither do they send a text when prescription is ready and they are not helpful atall!

Rude Front Staff. Single prescription for antibiotics. Told to wait 30 minutes for dispensing. No other client in the pharmacy. Paying by cash and told they do not take high denomination notes. It was a £50 note. Front staff was advised by Pharmacist to accept the cash. Advised initially to go to Tesco next door to buy something and come back with a smaller denomination note. Went back to collect prescription to be told prescription for that name is not with them.

My wife is a primary care pharmacist and asked me to go into the pharmacy to get a cream for our 14 month old daughter on pharmacy first. I was told the cream wasn’t available on pharmacy first as there was an age restriction and I had to go through my GP. I left assuming the age restriction was high as they didn’t even ask me what age my daughter was. When I spoke to my wife she double checked and indeed there was no age restriction as this had been completely removed in 2022. I then called up the pharmacy to explain I had just been in and told there was an age restriction when there wasn’t one, so was looking to come back in with my daughter and get the cream. The person on the phone went and asked the pharmacist and came back with the reply saying the pharmacist is refusing the consultation now so I need to go through the GP. My wife called up the pharmacy and asked to speak to the pharmacist, she asked why he refused the consultation and he said there was an age restriction. She told him I had said there wasn’t and asked why he didn’t double check. To which he replied I’ll take your word for it, if you tell your husband to come back in we can give the cream. With zero apology. I had since managed to go to a different pharmacy and get this no problem on pharmacy first. Disappointing as this is the closest pharmacy and we will now never be going back as the service is absolutely terrible.

My husband I have used Rowlands for many years and not once have we had a problem with our repeat prescriptions. Only problems we had in the past were down to our surgery. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Slow service. Pharmacist walked by me and didn't even ask if he could help or take prescription I had. Sauntered in behind into the dispensery. Embarrassing lack of customer service and awareness. Single item prescription...half hour wait..again ridiculous. Would take 2 mins to dispense and check that. I know because that's how long it would take me. Maybe my standards are just too high.

I use the Rowlands pharmacy app to order my medication from the Drs next door and usually wait 7 or 8 days for my prescription to come through. The staff are friendly and approachable. But the app is awful. It's now taking in excess of 10 days to process prescription requests. I'm going to try and switch to a different GP

I have had problems at Rowlands with the dispensing of my prescriptions. Many times late and also some of my medicines missing, with some trouble getting the said missing medicine. A better system is needed at this Pharmacy soon.

Knowledgeable pharmacists irrespective of who you speak to. I know the counter staff need to sit exams to be able to serve in a chemist and I've always found them helpful as far as possible. Never had to complain except quite often my script doesn't seem to make it from williamwood surgery to rowlands. Either surgery staff didn't put it in the bag or rowlands have managed to misplace it, usually needs a reprint at williamwood for driver to collect. Bit annoying but given that it's a free sevice and technically it's my responsibility to look after my own scripts and I know that rowlands probably dispense around 2000 items per day, I am totally okay about checking that my meds have been dispensed prior to my attempting uplift. It's common sense.
