I finally got medication that worked after trialing 4 different meds with my rheumatologist over the span of a year. Due to this lack of medication (not Lloyds fault) I'm in a bad way and struggling to do basics in life. Had 1 delivery of meds from Lloyds and it works. Now 2nd batch I got a call 2 weeks ago and arranged for Thursday 23rd I was given time slot and when that time came and went I called to ask where it was and was told only then that was issue with prescription and was hospitals fault. Called Monday 27th and told there is no issue with prescription and they didn't know why delivery was cancelled. Monday is the day I'm supposed to take my medication. I escalated this to manager and long story short I got 2 calls that same day to arrange for delivery of medication tomorrow Tuesday 28th. I get a call today (tuesday) again asking what time do I want the medications delivered I said asap and he said no give me a time so I said 12pm (2hrs from call) he was rude and hung up. I called back about this and tried to ask for manager and explain I've been struggling without proper meds for a year now and was ment to take meds yesterday I need it ASAP but they didn't really care. When manager finally came to the desk I herd him talk with the woman I was on call to and herd him call me "bastard" when I'd told him I'd herd it at 1st he insulted my intelligence and tried to deny he said that word before speaking to me. After I'd told him how I'm suffering and it's their company's maladministration he eventually admitted he did say "bastard" and apologised. Absolutely rude and disrespectful, even management swearing calling customers bastards. Cancelling much needed important medications for no reason and not even informing me about it until I ask why it's not arrived at time given. Unbelievable service. Bring the Glasgow company back!

If I could leave a minus stars you better believe it would be done, always an issue with prescription every time I'm due a delivery and this has only been since the Glasgow office closed down, GET IT BACK OPEN, YOU ARE PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES. Absolutely an abomination and disgraceful company!!!

This is now the second time I have had to post a poor review regarding LPCHC. Since last year when I was prescribed the pens I self inject with I have had nothing but issues with LPCHC. First of all the excuse was my prescription was lost, then the file was corrupt which I'm assuming was just an excuse from my experience so far. I had had around 4 doses of the medication that have worked over the course of the year, considering I administer it fortnightly it's not great. Every injection pen has been faulty, I get excuse after excuse, blamed for causing damage to the pens when it's clearly an issue with either the storage or how the medication is transported, the couriers certainly take no care in throwing the box about. I have been provided with sharps boxes that don't fit the actual pens Lloyds provided me so I have a pile of dud pens sat exposed as Lloyds thus far have not be bothered in the slightest to arrange collection. Very concerning considering there's exposed sharps and I'm immunocompromised. Attempted to speak with various individuals from LPCHC none will take charge. Currently due to take my dose of meds on Thursday and if the pen doesn't work I'll be waiting until LPCHC decide to send the medication. I have contacted the Scottish Health Minister and various other bodies to shine a light on how poor this service is for us individuals living with health conditions as this is absolutely ridiculous from day one.

Was meant to receive a delivery of medication from LPCH today having been arranged 6 days previously. Given that patients are only informed the night befote regarding delivery time I am not in work today and left in limbo. When the text to inform me of delivery time was not receieved, I contacted the call centre first thing only to then find out that my medication would not be delivered today. This has been claimed by LPCH to be due to the hospital. I queried why at no point in the past 6 days this has been raised with myself so I know whether I had to be at home and did not get a response. Believe this is a failure with a quick fix where a simple text to inform patients in advance could resolve the issue. I have raised the issue with my consultant. Now I am currently waiting patiently to find out when I will recieve the medication I need to give me a normal standard of living.

There isn't an option to give no stars otherwise I would. This has gone from being the very best patient service (from the Glasgow run office) to the very worst patient service (now in Harlow). The staff in Glasgow at their Queenslie office were efficient, friendly, lovely and absolutely understood how to handle and treat people at patient level. Now they've all been paid off & their patients transferred to Harlow. This was a perfectly seamless service which organised managed & remarkably, it cared about delivery of my medication. All credit to the lovely team at Queenslie who have been sadly let down too. Now I have to manage Lloyd's. It's hideous. There quite simply put, appears to be no service. They don't call, seem to care little, handed inefficient support systems, they don't keep in touch, they didn't even explain there might be a change in service levels so when I ''dropped off'' their system because of their seeming lack of management, they had to make contact with my consult to resurrect my prescription. I now have to contact them. They are another call centre with a endless checks simply to reach the point of talking and explaining to someone that you rely on your medication and find out where it is. People generally, do not want to have the type of condition that requires these types of medication. Having a chronic condition is challenging in itself. To add an extra layer of challenge on top, due to external human factors such as the clear mismanagement demonstrated here, is neglectful and patients should quite simply not be put in this position. It is disappointing, stressful, hurtful, ineffective and not even close to being acceptable. It's a very sad state of affairs. Much as I hate to say it, it will most likely be another move by someone further up the food chain within the company, who will think their brain wave is a fantastic money saving/streamlining idea with little or no regard for what the reality of being the patient actually means. I have grave concerns about the number of vulnerable people experiencing similar levels of service (no service at all) who perhaps aren't in position to do anything about it. Completely unacceptable service which I am currently in contact with them about. Come on Lloyds, please sort yourselves out.

A great service and point of support for us folk who get regular treatment delivered from whatever hospital is treating us direct to our door. I am Claire and I have MS. I am on regular weekly injections which are self administered. These injections are Beta 1A Interferon, whiçh is a disease modifying treatment for my particular type of Multiple Sclerosis. I have been on this treatment for 17 years and Lloyds Clinical Homecare have been delivering it to me since they took over from Bupa Home Healthcare some years ago. The problem I had with Lloyds was that I hadn't had a phonecall from them regarding my delivery and I was down to my last injection! So I went onto their website and found a number for them.i spoke to a nice lady, who couldn't tell me why I had dropped off the list. In two minutes she had found my prescription from my Consultant and had slotted me into a time spot and delivery day. Just like that. Brilliant help. Thank you Lloyds Clinical Homecare team! You just saved my life!

In the process of changing medications, have stopped the one I was on and was due my new medication from Lloyds Clinical home care last week. They cancelled the delivery slot as medication had been made without the loading dose, they couldn't deliver the following week as 'they weren't in the area' and due to my work commitments I couldn't take time off the start of next week to be at home for the delivery (it needs signed for an refrigerated straight away). They wouldn't deliver at night or over the weekend or give me a timeslot, even an AM or PM one would have helped or deliver to a local Lloyds branch for me to collect. I've now had to go 3 weeks longer than I should without any medication for my condition which is now getting worse by the day. Awful, awful service.
