Rude staff who seem to think customers are an inconvenience. Overheard a shocking conversation where a woman was trying to get a prescription and one of the staff were telling her the doctor shouldn’t give her and that it would take another 30 mins to fill her prescription only for someone else to appear with her prescription.

I had the unfortunate displeasure to going into this chemist last week at first just to have a look about as they had some nice things on display. After have a good look about I was waiting for a member of staff to acknowledge I was in the shop, as staff too busy talking amongst themselves which I always think very rude. I had to eventually ask for some advice regarding an item i liked but I found staff very unhelpful even although it was a normal questions they couldn't answer or honestly I think they just didn't care. So I went out the shop without buying anything and will never be back.

At last, somewhere that gives good advice in a friendly and competent manner. Among other purchases in this lovely pharmacy, on the recommendation of the good-natured assistant, I bought a 'Mason Pearson' hairbrush - my first ever and I have no regrets! How could I have lived so long without this superior hairbrush? I am assured it will last for many years to come unlike some cheaper, inferior makes.

I would like to echo the comments of others on here about the staff being rude and unhelpful. Started using this pharmacy a few months ago to pick up my repeat prescription. I've never encountered such obnoxious staff in a pharmacy (or even any other small business for that matter). As someone else mentioned, there is a definite atmosphere in this place too. I will be using my old pharmacy from now on. Even though it means the hassle of jumping on a train and a bit of a walk, I'd rather that than be condescended to by rude staff.

I have used this place for 25 years, , and only when i have to, service/staff surly obtuse not user friendly never seem glad of your custom , make you feel persona non grata. They have put me in embarrassing situations with regards to confidentiality in front of full shop. The worse was going in with a prescription for male incontinence pads and being suggested to try female sanitary towels. Far nicer pharmacies in the area.
