I will never use this shop again ...price always 30 % more then should be yesterday paid for glass coke 1.40 today 2 ...they are thief's They lie avoid ...price like stocks change 3 times a day 50% illegal activities..I'm living by them ......avoid !
The staff are appalling here. If you see an older man with glasses at the checkout get ready for verbal abuse and an attitude. He's always on the phone, doesn't give the correct change, doesn't listen, insists on charging you for bags when you don't want or need them as well as charging you for items you didn't buy. He's condescending and all round very unpleasant. Wasted no time in interrogating me about what I bought and insulting me whilst doing it. The other staff seem alright which is a shame but he is by far the worst.
Never give correct change !!!! Went here the other month and I had to ask for the correct amount & today I went in, bought a bottle of water , paying with a five pound note and gave me Turkish lira for change.
1 star is to much avoid at all cost over they over charge short change you and always sell out of date food by months if not weeks out of date how this place is not shut down god only knows staff are rude and have a attitude problem avoid it like you avoid COVID!
A great shop marred by the attitude of the man behind the counter with glasses and a mask on. He truly is the most miserable server I've met and he doesn't listen - three times as he's scanning my sweets I've asked him for a bag - silence - moments later, "do you want a bag". Little things like this put me off returning as I feel like a burden when I walk in and he's working.
Good range of stock, spacious and tidy so its easy to browse the shop. Nice choice of gifts such as childrens soft toys, sequined teddies, squishies and footballs in the shop now, they are pretty good quality for a convenience store. Also fab selection of bric-a-brac, household utensils & cleaning supplies like mop buckets, dustpans and sweeping brushes, DIY bits n bobs. Friendly staff always happy to help
