1 lady serving on till with long queue and no one helping on self service tils which were not operating properly. A relative lives near here and said it was the same last week and staff are rude when they do not reply to you. I think there is poor management in this shop and I'd recommend avoiding it. I had to leave my groceries and go to sainsbury instead.

Have just visited the Moreton Tesco on Hoylake Road and was treated with such disrespect from one of the male members of staff. This has actually happened before with the same guy (who was trying to resolve the same issue I have had before with the self serve tills. Ironically, I was using the very same self serve till) but I just put it down to the guy having a bad day. He seemed to sign impatiently at the thought of having to solve my issue. He rudely said " It's because your scanned an item and taken it off again" which was what the machine was actually telling me to do. He carried on serving another customer and ignored me. I looked at him and he touched something on the screen next to him. Annoyingly when I attempted to scan my next item, it did the same thing. He ignored me again until I got eye contact with him. He rather more rudely said "you've done it again" at the same time as rolling his eyes in annoyance. The lady who was being served by lookec at me sympathetically as if to say "how rude". He looked again at the screen on his side and said extremeky rudely this time "I'll have yo come round and do it in a minute. I cant do it on here) rather strange I thought. This member of staff is not very welcoming or at all very polite most times anyway. He's not rude but not polite at all. I have tried to telephone the store to complain but funnily enough, keep getting cut off. I will be telephoning head office to make an official complaint. I don't think I will use this store again.

Visted the store with my partner who wanted to send his parcels two ladies began to be very rude saying ‘no we aren’t taking any’ .My partner said yes you are and then the lady said oh we have no receipts . My partner had a spare one in his pocket he could use and the women where very unhappy and rude to him . The lady proceeded to act like my partner had to calm down , he asked ‘what’s the issue’ she clearly was unhappy they had to take our parcels . The lady walked away saying that she couldn’t be arsed and left the other lady to scan them through . My partner said that they had a duty to provide customer service in which she said they didn’t . This is absolutely disgusting behaviour and at the busy time of year where people are ordering items for Christmas. We always buy items from the store and never cause any problems, for some reason Tesco staff don’t want anyone’s parcels either because they can’t be bothered to do it or hate the evri business feature in their stores . The worse part was I was buying products on self serve and had to listen to the two ladies talking loud and slagging off my partner infront of me and other customers stating who does he think he is saying he’s entitled to customer service !!!! Absolutely shocking and mortified , all in doing is working for myself and sending my parcels , I would never treat any of my customers this way .

Very ridiculous staff member lady, we went to buy monster energy drinks like we usually do and have no problems with ID since I’m pretty sure we even look over 18, we got denied for not having ID on us even when I had a passport picture on my phone. we came back with ID and she couldn’t even find the passport picture of our ID. We both had to have ID which didn't make sense since one person was buying it and she seemed to have caused a massive fuss over some energy drinks. Would of been a lot easier just to accept us the first time and be done. (My theory is she was upset we had a bunch of coins haha but nobody to judge) other than that other staff seem fine :)

The staff in this tesco are lovely and friendly. I had the meal deal the ham salad in a box very very nice

Perfect because it's local and handy. The opening hours are great, as they're open long after others close, especially on a Sunday and bank holiday. The meal deals are amazing value for money at £3. The only drawback is that the food can be quite expensive compared to the bigger shops.

Small but well-stocked store. Good wine selection. Limited beers. Bakery and large frozen/chilled sections. Friendly staff. Bank machine outside. Parking lot which can get busy at peak times.
