Absolutely sick of this branch's perception of age. 2nd time I've been refused service and I'm in my 30s. Challenge 25 is the buffer, you check someones id if you think they look 25 or below. The second you're checking when you think people MIGHT be 25 but they look older, you negate the point of the buffer
I turn 30 in 2 months and I needed to buy ibuprofen but was refused without ID. The age for painkiller purchase is 16. Even if it did fall under challenge 25, a proper and considered look would have seen I'm easily visibly over 25, the worker rushed and made an idiotic decision without thought that has now left me in pain. Making aging decisions on autopilot without using common sense is not okay, this is the closest shop for another mile more and I don't drive. Maybe better training is needed re:painkiller sales
