   This cafe doesn't seem to exist. There's a bar. Cafe's gone.

   This cafe has changed hands. It's now named Hel's kitchen after Helen, the friendly proprietor. Closing day is now Monday not Tuesday. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. Pies and pastries plus cakes are all home made as are the sandwiches and hot meals. There is a new conservatory and outdoor seating area where dogs are welcome. Sunday lunch is very popular with home made roasties and yorkies etc. Easy 3 min access from the beach promenade. Great place to stop off when walking.

   Visited BeeDee's Cafe in Hoylake at the weekend and was really surprised. A lot had changed since I last visited and for the better, gone were the cakes and the interesting floral wallpaper, now its a lovely clean upmarket cafe with a real homely feel. They have a great kids area and a lovely corner sofa area that just invites you to sit and relax over a cup of coffee. I indulged in the BeeDee's Belly Filler and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. It certainly lives up to the name and I left with a belly full. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere. I will be back.
