This is a great, friendly class which serves a range of students ranging from beginners looking to improve fitness, to competitive athletes. Sanda is cool variant of kickboxing, which includes throws and a some grappling as well as all the kicks, punches and footwork you could ask for. It's an excellent workout.
Josh and Kitty are excellent instructors, they really know their stuff and I feel myself improving with every session thanks to their teaching and guidance. They foster a friendly and motivating environment at the club, which makes me look forward to attending classes. The sessions are a great workout, training technique, cardio and strength. It’s a fun and engaging skill to build, I highly recommend trying out regardless of skill level!
I love that Sanda spent some time teaching us about safety,awareness , law and theory about self defence. It was serious but still soft and honest. She then taught us some lovely moves and the class was very interactive. It felt like a safe environment and I’ve taken so much on board. Will definelty be back, with my friends and mother!
Big thank you to Kitty for hosting such a wonderful and important women’s only self-defence class. We learned so much about how to protect ourselves, how to assert boundaries and staying aware when out and about. Then we got to practically explore different strikes and ways to get out of a choke hold. Really valuable information, hoping to go back to the sessions again!
