   Highly recommended. Master Dan (Sir) and his team provide an engaging, fun and supportive environment where students of all ages learn the discipline, poise, technique, strength and control of this martial art. In the years since our girl joined in 2014 Master Dan has transformed her from a shy, quiet child to a mature, responsible and confident young adult who has achieved her Black Belt 2nd Dan grade and is showing no signs of stopping! The club is a true gem and Sir's clear dedication to his students is a credit to both the sport and the local community.

   Excellent academy, my children love it and so do I! My children have been attending DJS Taekwondo Academy for nearly six years, and I can’t speak highly enough of Daniel and his team. The classes are engaging and student-centered, allowing kids to have fun while they learn. The instructors excel at building positive relationships with the children, promoting respect, cooperation, and attentiveness among them. After watching my younger children’s taekwondo lessons for a few months, my step daughter also asked to join. To be honest, if I had the time I’d also join and I’ll explain why. The instructors are skilled at working with kids, helping even the shyest children to build confidence over time. I've watched my son, who started at four, truly flourish. I found that my children thrive in DJS supportive environment because they are treated as individuals. The instructors are excellent at identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, which helps them become more self aware. Daniel promotes parent involvement with an open-door policy, all my questions have been addressed promptly throughout the years. The lessons not only focus on taekwondo techniques but also helped my eldest develop resilience and focus, which has been important in preparing her for the 11+. The practise sessions not only prepare children for their grading but also give them a chance to develop strategies for managing stress in high-pressure situations. My children are eager to do well and feel they have a safe space to make mistakes while receiving the support they need to improve. This has really boosted their self-confidence and I’ve noticed my daughter has become more capable of standing up to bullies at school. DJS Taekwondo organises fun events, and Daniel masterfully balances humor, flexibility, and discipline in his teaching style. In my opinion, DJS taekwondo equips children with much more than just martial arts skills; it prepares them for life. I highly recommend DJS Taekwondo Academy.

   My son Freddie is 4. This class is brilliant even for he’s age. Master Daniel is very professional, punctual, and is very strong on teaching the children respect and discipline. My son can be shy some times, however joining this class is starting each week to bring him out and get on with it. Sir shows praise when it’s due and encouragement when needed. My son has lots of fun, laughs, jokes and good times here and I’d definitely recommend to anyone that asks. Halloween was decorated, outfits & sweeties. Christmas get together this Sunday Santa was there, light training, games & sweets with a certificate. Definitely balances out but the children respect and love master Daniel.

   The boy had a smashing introductory lesson with Master Daniel today. Great fun, but well disciplined. Firm but fun instruction and a good workout. Sensible covid policies in place too! We'll be returning! Update:. Boy has moved up to the big class and it continues to be fantastic. It's getting tougher, but he has the support he needs to shine!

   Cannot speak highly enough of DJS Taekwondo. Dan is a lovely bloke and has gone above and beyond to help my son get into Taekwondo. The kids always have a great time but Dan is also very firm and a great teacher. Would recommend this to any parents wanting to get their kids into martial arts. Also, special shout out to Miss who my little boy loves!

   We organised taekwondo birthday party for my son Acer who attend his taekwondo weekly class. Mr Daniel the taekwondo coach was amazing, my son and rest of kids (about 30) really had a good time with different games. I would highly recommend booking taekwondo teacher for birthday party and joining his taekwondo classes.

   My daughter joined this academy over 3 years ago. She joined from another local academy and the improvement in terms of combat skills, patterns (Poomsae), confidence and discipline were immediate. Furthermore, she has increased her technical skills, flexibility, speed and coordination. Discipline is an important aspect of any club, and Master Daniel approaches this firmly and fairly, expecting everyone to be respectful in the class. I can say that Master Daniel has massively contributed to my daughter’s achievements. Finally, with the achievement of his 4th Dan, Master Daniel has shown his dedication to progress and passes this determination on to his students.
