    I have been a student of Schools of Kung Fu since July 2024. But I have been a Kung Fu student for about 33 years. In November 2024 I lost my first Sifu to cancer, and since then I have felt lost as Martial Artist. But Sifu Kul has helped me to understand Kung Fu in ways I have never been taught in the past and he has been a real inspiration in this new chapter of my Martial Arts journey. Sifu Kul is so knowledgeable and I hope I can be the type of student to him that I was to my late Sifu, because I know he will be a Sifu that I respect just as highly.

    As a beginner I've found the classes to be excellent so far, combining aerobic martial art / self defence elements with meditative aspects involving slow, flowing movements and standing meditations. There's a lot to learn but no pressure. Sifu Kul, Paul and the more senior students have all been very welcoming and patient with a beginner like me as I slowly progress. The learning process is a challenging but enjoyable journey. Highly recommended.

    I viewed several different classes prior to joining Schools of Kung Fu Essex. The main reason I decided to join was the friendly and warm environment, Sifu Kul greeted me with a large smile and the group were very welcoming and took time with me finding my feet. Other classes I viewed people couldnt leave their egos at the door where as Schools of Kung fu Essex we are team helping build each other not beat each other. Since joining j have increased my class schedule and wish I could do more.
