I have been to other Argentine tango classes, and they all are either too largely attended for the teacher to spend any attention to you. Or the steps have been too complex to take in. I have been going to lDA Tango Academy for the last couple of months, and have enjoyed Laura's way of teaching. She dances with her pupils and the steps are explained more clearly.

I have been learning Argentine tango with Laura for a year. She dances with love and soul. Her passion for dancing is inspiring. She is also an exceptionally good teacher. She teaches progressively with a structured framework, yet instill creativity from the start. I love learning with Laura, she is a great leader, at the same time a beautiful follower. She can teach leaders and followers interchangeably. In the past year, I improved in my dancing foundation and techniques; also importantly my understanding and interpretation of this unique and characteristic dance.

Laura is a lovely instructor. She has been very patient with us while teaching such intricate moves. She is a trustworthy teacher with a lovely calm presence.

I really enjoy the weekly Argentine Tango Group lessons run by Laura which I started last October as a single student. The hour long lesson is well structured: we start with a few minutes warm up of exercises aimed at loosening all joints and preparing the muscles to fluid movement and stability. We then dance as couples for one tango to revise all figures learnt to date. Laura then shows us one new figure which is the core of the lesson. I appreciate the fact that Laura repeats the figure several times till the movements are impressed in our minds and then proceeds to check and correct each couple individually, with great patience, until the figure is danced correctly. This takes us to the last 10 minutes of the lesson where again we dance a couple of tangos to practice what has been learnt to date. I believe that a couple of beginners would , by the end of the course, be able to dance with confidence in a Milonga and enjoy the experience. Well done Laura !

Fabulously friendly Tango classes. Laura is a warm Argentinian teacher. She makes each class fun and it’s a great group of people. Come to have a taste of authentic Tango in Raynes Park! Would highly recommend!
