   If you are thinking that perhaps you have passed the age of dancing ballet, think again. As a woman of 60+ with little to no previous experience of ballet, I started my weekly ballet classes at St John’s Wood nine months ago. I find the experience each week totally uplifting. The classes are imparted in the outmost professional way with the teacher’s tremendous attention to each individual’s needs but also full of good humor. What is amazing for me is that I feel totally safe and supported by my wonderful teacher and peers to make as many mistakes as I need to, when trying to improve my technique. The classes are very inclusive, friendly, supportive and cosmopolitan. Without any reservation, I recommend this ballet school for any person that wishes to take ballet classes as an adult. I would also recommend that you give them a call and arrange for a taster class to ensure that it meets your expectations before you commit yourself. Olga (Pinner)

   Brilliant and fun! It’s now over 5 years since I joined Bluebirds Ballet School Silver Swans classes for age 55+. The teachers are wonderful, inspirational - and patient! They combine the total professionalism needed to teach with a friendly accessible approach for those who like me had never done ballet before. It’s a wonderfully friendly environment where we have all made new life-enhancing connections. Try it!
