They canceled the class last minute! The teacher is still giving the next class, so I guess they canceled mine because they didn’t have enough people.
Really BAD!! They cancel classes last minute which seems to be a common thing and the atmosphere in the place is terrible! Think twice before going here! Very 90s bitchy dance class vibes, like going into a time warp. Do not recommend going here for classes there are better places, plus passive aggressive teachers/staff.
A few times more advanced students turn up to the beginner aerial silk class which is intimidating and the teachers focuses more on them as they are regulars. It would be better if beginners were for beginners only
Wonderful studio with lots of classes to offer. Classes are reasonably priced, especially for central London, and the instructors are welcoming and professional. The place is always very clean too. Special shout out to Andrew who is an awesome teacher!
I absolutely loved my restorative yoga class with Zachary, he is an incredible teacher! I have back issues and Zachary kept checking in with me and gave modifications and alternatives which I was super grateful for! I would highly recommend going to one of his classes!
I have my beginner pole dance class with Zachary and I was really pleased with how he made us feel confident and how attentive was to every student . This is what you need to start a pole dance class cause at the start you feel nervous and not in the shape. I think he is just the right fit , amazing teacher and skills . Cannot wait to come back and start my proper pole dance journey . Thanks Diana
I went to pole dance and silks lessons. I really like it and it doesn’t matter which level you’re in, everyone can assist. Absolutely love Raffa's silks lesson. Definitely my favourite!
I'd first visited the Dance Studio several years ago for a group pole dancing experience, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So when I noticed my joints were feeling quite tight recently, I looked them up again and found the online courses for flexibility and stretching. They are easy to follow and give you time to move in and out of position. I've found I'm really enjoying them, and am considering the splits fot beginners classes. I would highly recommend the Dance Studio, they have so many classes to offer especially for those that are looking for something fun, and a bit different to your usual fitness classes.
I'm in live with London Dance Academy's Splits classes, Aerial yoga, circus and handstands. I am so happy they have continued with online classes so I can still join in.
I attended the "anti-gravity yoga" class and I really enjoyed it. The workout was quite hard, but the instructor was helpful and came around to give us tips and correct our posture. One major disadvantage of the venue is the (lack of) changing rooms - there is just a small room with small metal boxes where you can put your bag/shoes etc. The class is highly recommended though!
