   My private lesson with Raquel was fabulous. I learnt so much because Raquel has such a clear, uncomplicated way of explaining how to accomplish correct technique. My needs were met with the opportunity to practice new moves, as Raquel is such a competent and experienced lead; but she also gives valuable tips on how to be a better follower. I will definitely book future private lessons with Raquel whenever I get the opportunity. I can't wait to put into practice what she has already taught me, and look forward to hopefully dancing with Raquel again very soon.

   Raquel is a very experienced teacher and performer with a charismatic and approachable personality and high attention to detail. She organises regular classes for different levels, milongas and special events like Ladies technique and styling and also collaborates with other prominent figures in tango industry for workshops and masterclasses. All that ensures that your dancing progress will be incredibly fast as well as enjoyable and you will meet a great deal of wonderful people while practicing and dancing!

More than that, she usually starts her lessons by teaching us how to dance alone in beautiful ways that absolutely makes us get obsessed to Tango and can dance it happily on streets - no better than dancing on london’s streets!

   The Raquel Greenberg Tango Academy brings an interesting and illuminating angle of authentic quality to the London tango scene. Raquel is a very fine dancer and an excellent teacher. Her dual role as an accomplished leader as well as a follower is highly beneficial to her students. She takes great care of giving detailed individual attention to everyone. Her Academy is frequently visited by world class dancers from Buenos Aires and other parts of the world offering expertise, fresh perspectives and inspiration to students. Her advanced class, coupling milonga with tango salon is a brilliant way of highlighting the innate features of the two strands. The Academy's recent 6th Anniversary Ball was a fabulous occasion of dancing, warmth, fun and 'bubbles' crowned by Raquel's beautiful performance with the inimitable Diego Riemer. Altogether a wonderful event!

   Being a good dancer and being a good teacher are two very different things and Raquel managed to be both: she's a great dancer and a fantastic teacher! She has taught tango for many years and in many countries. She looks after absolutely everyone during the classes and makes sure that all the moves and steps are well understood by the tangueros! Raquel breakdowns every step and teaches perfectly well to both leaders and followers. You will be surprised how you can soon execute some complex steps with beautiful embellishments, while never neglecting the fundamentals. In addition, many workshops on different styles of tango are organised and guest teachers coming from all around the world are regularly invited. Raquel truly shares her love and passion for tango and you can be sure that you will leave each class with a smile on your face, happy to have learned a lot of great things and completely boosted by the super good mood which goes with every lesson!! :)
