   I can't begin to express how grateful I am for everything KCDS has done for my daughter. When she first started, she was a timid 6-year-old with no dance experience and a lack of confidence. Fast forward to today, and she is a determined, motivated, and confident young lady—thriving on stage with a level of poise and sass I never could’ve imagined. From competing in numerous events to eagerly stepping up for every opportunity to improve, she’s now blossomed into someone who believes in herself and her abilities. All of this is thanks to the incredible support, love, and guidance that Katie and her talented team provide. They don’t just teach dance; they foster confidence, discipline, and a sense of belonging. KCDS has become so much more than a dance school to us—it’s a true family, a community where the children feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s a place where they’re encouraged to grow, not just as dancers, but as individuals. I’ll forever be thankful for the positive impact KCDS has had on my daughter, and I truly can’t recommend them enough.

   We joined KCDS last year from another dance school and I’m so pleased we did! The school is run as a professional dance school, with high standards of dance, as well as teaching the children the discipline of taking pride in their appearance and behaviour. The children create such a warm and friendly environment, nurturing wonderful friendships. The extra social activities, workshops, performances and shows bring the whole school together, with the older girls and boys inspiring the younger ones. The annual show is incredible! Fantastic costumes and lighting add to the exceptional choreography and standard of dance. I was blown away by this year’s show - Elevate 2025! If you’re looking for a dance school which will push your child to be their very best, this is the one!

   My 9 years old daughter has had the best few years training with Katie Cox Dance Studio. She started with just ballet but her love of dance grew and now she does tap, lyrical, acro and jazz too! She has flourished in such a nurturing environment and made some amazing friends. She loves her teachers and is always so happy when we are on the way to lessons. The effort that goes into each child to bring the best out of them is amazing and all the students really cheer each other on and celebrate each other’s achievements. Both students, teachers and parents come together to put on amazing events and shows. I can’t wait to see what else Katie Cox Dance Studio can do over the next few years!

   I highly recommend Katie and her dance school. I have been attending with my toddler over the last year. We both love the classes. Katie puts so much thought and effort into each class. There is never a class the same, and there are often themed songs relating to the time of year or festive period. It has been great to meet other families too. My daughter has benefitted from the classes. We both get to stretch, dance, play and sing together. A really positive experience from a local personable business. Thanks Katie and team.

   We love Katie Cox Dance Studio. Katie runs a fabulous dance school with so many opportunities to learn all types of dance disciplines at all levels. Through both lockdowns the zoom classes and support given has been amazing. Katie and her team of brilliant teachers are so professional but nurturing and supportive too. My daughter has been learning mini performers, dance combo, which incorporates tap modern and ballet and Acro too she loves all her classes and teachers. So much time and effort goes in to engaging the pupils and supporting their individual goals. I highly recommend this dance school.

   I can highly recommend, as my daughter has been dancing with KCDS for 10 years. The teachers are very likeable and professional, which has helped with confidence building, both within the dance school and externally. The range of classes is fantastic, offering something for everyone. There’s the opportunity to take part in a bi-annual show, which everybody enjoys. It’s a great opportunity to show parents and friends everything you’ve been learning.
