Michelle and her team are absolutely outstanding with how they develop the children. We found this studio last year and won’t look back. Amazing dancers have come out from their tuition and can see great dancers to follow. Our little one has had the opportunity to take part in the latest show which has enabled them to achieve and be inspired. Excellent work Michelle.

We feel really privileged to be part of Michelle’s Dance Family. The Academy has empowered our daughter with confidence and exposed her to so many unique dance performance opportunities. Most importantly, the Studio provides a very safe, warm and caring environment, where our children really reach their full potentials, whilst having so much fun! All Coaches/Staff Members are very professional and treat everyone with kindness and respect. If you are looking for Dance/Gymnastics training place for your children, just give them the BEST by joining Dancescape Studios in Waltham Abbey.

My daughter has been at Streetz Ahead for 7 years and we have been so proud and privileged to watch her grow under Michelles care and guidance. The vast array of experiences she has had thanks to Streetz have inspired her and fuelled her absolute passion. She has made some fabulous friends and they are so supportive of each other -it has been joyous. I could not recommend highly enough.

My daughter first tried out a street dance session over the Summer holiday and loved it so much that she joined a weekly class. Michelle is so passionate and knowledgeable and makes the sessions really engaging and fun - my daughter is learning some great moves and choreography, and the lessons are also helping with expressing feelings and building confidence.

My daughter joined her after her dance school closed, both the students and teachers were so friendly and welcoming it was like she had always been part of this dance family. The principle and owner is the most open, professional and loveliest teacher you could come across in the world of dance and she offers so many exciting opportunities to her students.. They offer such a variety of classes from street to jazz to musical theatre and for all ages, all are welcomed here.

Both my daughters have been attending classes at Dancescape Studios for over 6 years. Michelle is a wonderful teacher who really cares about her students. There are a variety of classes available and at times my daughters have been at the studio 4 days a week, they call it their second home. The Monday night Streetz Ahead classes are always full of energy and the competition class sessions on a Friday have brought with them some amazing performance opportunities for all that attend. The Find Ur Feet theatre school which runs on a Saturday is an amazing place to learn singing, dancing and performing/acting skills and my girls loved the additional singing classes with the lovey vocal coach Luciee. The end of year shows which Michelle and her team organise are fantastic and it’s a great way to see all the brilliant dances/performances that they have been working on. Over the years I have been so pleased with how my girls have progressed in both dancing and performing under Michelle’s teaching. She has instilled in them a love of dance, a great sense of teamwork and has facilitated some excellent performing opportunities which has been fantastic experience for them. I couldn’t recommend Michelle and Dancescape Studios enough.

My daughter started dancing with the Principle of Dancescape Studios Michelle Hawkes 13 years ago. She initially joined the Streetz Ahead dance class when she was just 3 years old and there has been no looking back. This progressive dance studio has literally become her 2nd home. Whilst her first experience was with the Street dance class, she soon developed confidence and started Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz classes. She is also part of the Street competition troupe and attends (along with my 3 sons) the weekend theatre school ‘Find Your Feet’ where they enjoy singing, dancing and acting. My daughter has learned so much about the various genres of dance, choreography and teamwork from Michelle and all of the excellent dance instructors. Any parent who wants their son or daughter to learn from professional and caring instructors whilst being part of a close knit team will find that at Dancescape Studios. Michelle has successfully created a very positive and above all nurturing environment. Even when my daughter joined the competition team the emphasis was very much on developing herself and not about competing against anyone, there is a real welcoming family atmosphere. Dancescape Studios has not only played a huge part in her childhood and now teen years, it has also been an amazing chapter in my life. Watching her perform at so many competitions and all of my children perform in the amazing shows that are created every year has brought us all so much happiness. Highly recommend this dance school.

Michelle is the best along with her other teachers. My girls had been dancing for a few years at Another school but when that shut down unexpectedly Michelle welcomed them all with open arms... she built apon the skills they already had and took them further. Her enthusiasm for dance and her love for children helps them to exceed what they think they can do whilst having lots of fun at the same time.
