I started with ballet class last year but only for short period due to pregnancy and really enjoy the experience. I stopped and renewed this year from september I am so happy I did. I am visiting absolute beginner class with Vivian, she is an absolutely amazing ballet instructor! I love how she starts each lesson with a good stretching session — it really helps set the tone, worm up and prepare us for class. During lessons, she pays attention to every student and takes the time to personally correct mistakes in a kind and encouraging way. She’s sweet, friendly, and makes every class fun and enjoyable. Vivian never makes you feel bad about your mistakes; instead, she helps you improve with patience and positivity. Really well done — I truly enjoy learning with her!

I did a drop in class on a day off and was so impressed with Gee's teaching approach - she is so warm and friendly and really hones in on finer details of technique and placement during the lesson. A great class experience for beginners as well as experienced dancers. Learned so much from her!

I took a three hour masterclass on turns with Gee and it was so much fun! She teaches in a really approachable way and gives really doable feedback and corrections. She will adhere the corrections to you dancing level as well, which is great because I'm coming in as a beginner level after many years away from dance. The studio space at The Place was very large as well with natural light and a mirrored wall so it was ideal for the large class size we had. I can't wait to take another class with London Ballet Classes!

Absolutely brilliant variety of adult ballet classes! The community that LBC built nourishes my soul. Classes are inclusive, challenging but not too much, teachers have always been inspiring. The people that attend these classes are warm and friendly, with no sense of competition or meanness often found in ballet classes! I really recommend the advanced Sunday night variation classes, and love getting videos to see how I can improve.

I have 5 years ballet classes experience this is the worst I’ve ever had. Music: the instructor plays really generic jazz café music from her phone which is nothing to do with classical ballet. And she said she can’t afford a pianist which is ridiculous. She charged even more than a teacher from Royal ballet. The counts and the music didn’t match. Instructions: not clear at all. A lot of irrelevant talking were in the class. With key/ harder routines she explained only little. The instructor took videos in the class which irritates me, a good instructor never do that, but obviously this follows the social media trend. The instructor barely demonstrated The course is about variations, but barre training took more than an hour in a 1.5 hour training. The barre training didn’t follow the classical ballet sequence. And some of the excises she wasted time on was not relevant to the centre works. During the class, the instructor concerned about her hair style and if she took the videos. Conclusion: there are so many classes out there in London. This one is not helpful for developing your ballet techniques at all.

It all started with me booking an in person workshop just before the pandemic which was then sadly cancelled - but what can I say, I did not miss out because London Ballet made the workshop virtual, and it was excellent! She watched each of us to ensure we received detailed, individual corrections, the information and schedule was so immensely well planned and thought through, and I really felt I had grown as a dancer following the workshop. I have since taken more online classes, but am planning to attend an in person event in the future (I do not live in London or I would be a regular attendee of the regular classes, for sure! ) Thank you so much for all you do! Sue

Highly recommend the adult ballet school, the teacher is very knowledgeable and classes are focused on technique and musicality from beginners to intermediate dancers. Studio is spacious and 1.5hr classes have enough time to warm up, have ballet class and learn different repertoire each month.

I have taken a few of LBCs online classes and absolutely adore Gee and her teaching style. She is a very welcoming teacher, and I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the classes. I highly recommend for an all round positive experience for both beginners and more advanced dancers.
