Excellent ballet school. Miss Hannah is not only a supportive and encouraging ballet teacher but she also nurtures talent, teaches to a high standard and goes the extra mile for her students. My daughter loves going to her lessons. I would highly recommend.
East Surrey Dance (and well, Miss Hannah) is simply a superb dance school. Care, fun, motivation, excellence- sums up the experience of my 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl), who have all danced with ESD. Miss Hannah is simply the most dedicated and kind teacher and really does get the best out of the young people that are lucky enough to dance with her. I couldn't recommend highly enough :)
My daughter loves her ballet lessons and always looks forward to Saturday morning. Ballet is the real highlight of her week. She also attends the summer school and has taken part in 2 shows and looking forward to the next one in early 2026! The teachers are welcoming and work with each child.
Miss Hannah and her colleagues at East Surrey Dance are wonderful. My girls (5 and 3) have been enjoying their ballet classes for a few years now. Always super happy and excited for their classes. My daughter has loved every minute of her 8 years dancing with East Surrey Dance School. Unlike a lot of after school clubs, she always looks forward to going. Miss Hannah has created a wonderfully warm and welcoming dance environment - no stuffiness or strict regimes here. And whilst the teachers continue to push and develop the dancers with RAD exams and stage shows, we are never felt pressured to do everything.
My daughter Eliza has been coming to Swans and Cygnets with Miss Hannah for about a year now and we both thoroughly enjoy it! Eliza was a very shy child when she first joined but has really come out of her shell and loves dancing and jumping down the caterpillar with Miss Hanna! Lots of great ways using props such as feathers and fairy wings to help little ones understand the basics of ballet. Lovely class.
Amazing ballet school! My daughter has grown in confidence and her love for dancing and performing is even greater after going to ESD school. Miss Hannah and the teachers are fantastic!
