This place serves consistently good food :) Staff has always been friendly. Clearly there's a lot of new staff needing some training, but considering I've visited on a Saturday morning, where they're usually pretty busy, they did a pretty good job in my opinion. Will definitely come back with friends

Best brunch in bath! Cosy and intimate cafe located right opposite the train station. I got the biscoff pancakes which were perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The portion was massive and they tasted divine. Service was lovely and the food came very quickly. Would love to come here again in the future!

Absolute find! What a gem of a place. Fantastic service, very attentive. Great location, wonderful atmosphere, and the food is sublime! 1000% recommend. We went for the bottomless brunch, which includes 1 breakfast dish (i had eggs Benedict.. which was super) and one pancake dish. With bottomless Peroni, Prosecco,Mimosa, or Orange Juice. I like the fact that they brought over ice buckets with the beers and Prosecco, so you didn't have to keep asking for refills. My only 1 criticism (and it's only small) I wish they would include coffee in the bottomless package. At Β£40 a head is good value. But paying for an additional coffee with my breakfast seems a bit silly when it is cheaper than the beer or Prosecco. However we would return, the food and service was second to none. Toilets are located down some steep steps, so may be a problem if you had any mobility issues.

Had a great breakfast here on our first day in Bath. We went for the breakfast bap which was loaded and really tasty. Coffee was good and the girls who served us were really friendly. There was good seating spread across 2 sections (watch the step!) of the cafe. They brought water over as soon as sat down too which is something I always appreciate. It is also right opposite the station, which is handy if you are coming in on train.

Cafe Au Lait is a fantastic place to eat! The service was excellent, making the entire dining experience pleasant and enjoyable. The location is lovely, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pancakes. The chef at Cafe Au Lait makes the best pancakes I have ever had! If you are a fan of pancakes, this is the place to go. They are absolutely worth every penny. Chef, take a bow! Your pancakes are simply divine!

The chai latte was amazing! Sadly the customer service wasn't so good and the waitresses were inattentive to the needs of their customers. 3 very impatient ladies tried pushing in front of us. A vegetarian side order was placed on a meat eaters plate, the waitress looked blankly when we declined to accept it. The chilli sauce on the toasted halloumi sourdough should have come with a spice warning as it was verging on being inedible. The toasted sandwich also had a scant amount of rocket leaves However, it was a mediocre sandwich ruined by chilli sauce. However, pancakes were gargantuan and deliciously light, definitely the best choice on the menu.

We popped in here for breakfast last weekend. The place was busy (a good sign) and we were lucky enough to get the last table. The menu had some great selections and plenty of allergy/intolerance friendly options. Service was good, very friendly and efficient. The food was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. Next time I’ll ask for butter on the toast with mushrooms as the bread was a little dry but all the other food was wonderful. Prices were at the high end but you generally get what you pay for. Very enjoyable experience

Stopped in here for a quick coffee whilst exploring Bath. Ordered 2 iced lattes. Staff were friendly and chatty, service was quick and coffee was decent. Didn’t eat here but the food looked amazing, will definitely stop here for brunch next time. Plus they’re dog friendly!

Really nice coffee, brunch was really tasty too! Only minor annoyance is they had put large rock salt into the shakers so it required a bit of effort to coax it out. Service was a little slow and staff were pleasant but rather inattentive. Would expect a little more for the price (Β£12.50 for a full english, Pancakes about Β£9 coffees about Β£3).

In a city bursting with cafes this is absolute gem. My 2nd visit and I had the full English. Very good quality food and full of flavour. The coffee is smooth and delicious. A selection of cakes provided the sweet touch
