   Went in this morning for a nice breakfast, however firstly the service was abysmal - I'm pretty relaxed but the server was talking to a dog inside and then went and sat behind the counter, totally blanking us (there was an older couple in there who had their coffees, and a single person with her dog, who had been served). Eventually my partner (I'm currently in a leg brace after an accident so not particularly able to get around) went up to get menus, which were dirty and heavily used pieces of A4 and sadly did not match the website menu (we had been planning on a hot breakfast of some kind but the menu only had cold sandwiches or baguettes). We dithered for a while but having still been ignored by the server who was very busy sat behind the counter on her phone, we left - will not try again. Really disappointing as it's a local place and I would have loved to add it to my regular rotation of good breakfast places.

   What a wonderful cafe! Noah and Lilly took excellent care of me today. I went in with zero expectations and asked them to serve me anything they were in the mood for and IT WAS SO GOOD! I really had a great time there today. Coffee, tea, sweet treats…had it all and it was fabulous. Thank you so much for the memories.

   I’ve been here a couple of times now and both occasions have been very pleasant. Really good sandwiches, tasty coffee (fair trade is a bonus!), friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to trying the cakes!
